Superstars Reax - 2/13/16, NXT live event notes, HoFer to Dallas, WM33 update, assorted WWE press, Chyna makes up for no-show, Angle in a differenrt HOF, Angle vs. Rey, Stardust vs. Arrow update, Nikki hits the gym, Diva delivers, and Questions on TNA signing Styles, EC3 as a face, TE names using insider terms, booking Reigns, and deciding HoFers

Superstars:
- Sandow/Fandango vs. Ascension:
I really want Sandango to be a thing. They need comedy vignettes about ballroom dancing vs. the tango, Sandow reading Plato vs. Fandango reading comic books... there's a lot of fun to be had there.

This is going well enough. I think the Ascension has improved from their squash match days.

Sandow is really underutilized. Using him in NXT would be better than not using him at all.

That was pretty good overall.

- Stardust vs. Ryder:
I'm liking this so far. Some solid work on display. Hopefully Stardust becomes as fluid and dependable as his brother.

WHOA. Ryder got a win on the main roster. Didn't see that coming.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Some notes from NXT's most recent live event in Florida:
- Alex Riley lost to Apollo Crews. That was a good match for both parties to progress as wrestlers.

- Bayley defeated Liv Morgan. I wonder when we'll see Liv in a more regular role on TV. She's been rough the few times we have seen her, but hopefully she eventually moves up the ranks.

- The Hype Bros lost in the main event to Dash & Dawson. I continue to think WWE might try to make that a main roster team before the year's over.

Kevin Von Erich has been invited to Wrestlemania 32, leading to speculation of him inducting the Fabulous Freebirds into the Hall of Fame. That'd be great!

The Miami Herald looked at the possibility of Orlando hosting Wrestlemania next year. Nothings' been announced yet, but WWE definitely likes that neck of the woods.

Becky Lynch was at a PWG event this weekend. I wonder if any talents there will end up working NXT/WWE in the future?

- Becky also promoted Tuesday's Smackdown taping. I'd like to see Charlotte vs. Sasha vs. Becky at WM32.

AJ Styles promoted a live event this weekend. Good to see WWE pick him for that duty.

Chyna made a surprise appearance for Maryland Championship Wrestling's anniversary event in order to make up a previous no-show. That included a meet and great before the show. Glad she made up for missing the previous event.

Kurt Angle will be inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame by Arnold Schwarzenegger at this year's Arnold Sports festival. Interestingly, there will be NXT live events at this same venue. It will be interesting to see if that becomes the site of a meeting between Angle and someone like HHH.

- Kurt Angle will face Rey Mysterio on March 20 on iPPV. That could be good to see if they can both hold up long enough to put on a great match. Both men have had plenty of injuries.

There's speculation of Stardust vs. Stephen Amell at Wrestlemania stemming from Stardust stealing Amell's Slammy. New footage was filmed with the two of them in Texas. I'd like to see them face off again, although another tag match might work best considering Amell's not a wrestler. How about the Cosmic Wasteland vs. Amell, Swagger, and Henry? Henry could get a final Mania win in his home state!

Nikki Bella has returned to the gym. There is no official update on her getting back in the ring. That will be up to her doctors; she had a pretty serious injury.

Rosa Mendes has given birth. Naturally she'll get some maternity leave before there's talk of what her WWE role will be going forward. I could see her riding out her contract through "Total Divas" appearances. They haven't really done anything with her in a long time.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They showed they didn't let their top TNA original go to WWE without trying hard to sign him back. Yes, they do seem beneath WWE because WWE has a lot more money and resources to pick up the departing Bullet Club names, but they didn't want it to look like they let a big star of theirs walk right into WWE's hands.

2. EC3 is now officially face, at least as far as being against Matt Hardy. I do think they're taking it step by step. He's not suddenly kissing babies or whatever; he's just out for revenge on those who screwed him.

3. It's not like the terms are all that "insider" anymore, but there certainly were some who were upset at Josh for that reason. Rasslin' still has something of a carny mentality in some places.

4. Basically the people booing Reigns have pretty much made up their minds about him, and it's hard to change those perceptions. Some will come around, but others are stuck in the critical anti-Reigns mindset and are going to stay there for the foreseeable future. They're invested in being Reigns haters.

5. There's only one higher power in WWE, dammit!

More wrestling tomorrow.
