WWE Fastlane preview

Read on for my suggestions on booking tonight's WWE special event.
Kickoff show:
- Kalisto vs. Del Rio: Since Sin Cara is back in action, I think it's time to put Kalisto back as a tag team guy. I enjoy him, but I think the Dragons should be working together at WM32. So, Del Rio wins a great match two falls to one. Kalisto hopefully still looks like a champ in defeat. I like the idea of him getting the ring to himself for a bit after losing. The LD set their sights on the tag team titles, and Del Rio goes back to defending the U.S Title.

Fastlane:
- Cutting Edge Peep Show:
This is pretty much just a promotional vehicle for the WWE Network show. As for how to end what should be a fun segment, New Day gets upset at the musical mockings of the former World Champions. They threaten to get physical with Edge and Christian, so E&C try to defuse the situation by offering a present to the current champs. A large gift-wrapped box is wheeled out. New Day open it to see their present... The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry! They decide to make a retreat in order to avoid Henry getting revenge from being injured on Monday.

- Charlotte vs. Brie:
Charlotte makes Brie tap with Ric's help (grabbing her arms for leverage). On an upcoming Raw or Smackdown, she throws a retirement party for Brie. Brie says she's not retiring yet, and says she just needs one more chance against Charlotte. If Brie loses, she'll never get a shot at the Divas' Title again. Here's the catch, though: Ric can't be at ringside. Charlotte accepts. In that match, she gets herself disqualified via some heel antic or another. Naturally, Charlotte plays that up as being Brie's last shot at the title. BUT, Brie didn't actually lose the match. Brie gets involved in the Divas' Title picture for WM32. I want to see Charlotte vs. Sasha vs. Becky at WM32 as well, but I think they'd want someone with more experience there. Plus, they can catalog it for Total Divas and all that. My alternate suggestion is Brie winning a Vickie Guerrero Invitational Battle Royal at WM32 involving the rest of the Divas (and maybe some special guests from NXT/the past). Vickie should go into the HoF this year to tie that all together.

- Owens vs. Ziggler:
Owens just won the title. No way would I have him lose it here. KO gets the win. No crazy shenanigans here: clean win via pop-up powerbomb.

- Styles vs. Jericho:
AJ makes Cool Dad tap out. I don't see any reason to do anything else. AJ then sets his sights on Kevin Owens and the IC Title.

- Becky/Sasha vs. Naomina:
As suggested earlier, Becky and Sasha are going into the Divas' Title match at WM32. So, they win here. I like the idea of Becky and Sasha both getting submissions on their opponents in the center in the ring for a double tapout.

- Wyatts vs. Kane/Show/Ryback:
The Wyatts need to look dominant here. I don't mean "winning in two minutes" dominant, but they need to look like a coherent force you don't want to mess with. They don't need any interference or anything to get the win here. Bray just watches his brothers pick apart the opposition. He wants Brock to fall at the hands of the Faces of Fear, and this is to set that up for WM32.

- Ambrose vs. Reigns vs. Lesnar:
I think everyone knows how this one's going to go. Reigns is down on the outside of the ring. Brock hits an F5 on Ambrose. The lights go out. The Wyatts appear on the stage with Paul Heyman in tow. Brock goes after the Family and we get a big brawl going backstage. Ambrose gets up and eats a spear. Reigns goes to WrestleMania to finish the story arc they've been building for months. Reigns definitely needs to look like he's worthy of being WWE Champion after this match and didn't win JUST because Brock was out of the equation. On Raw, Ambrose hands it to Reigns for getting the win. Chris Jericho interrupts and says Ambrose shouldn't be happy his friend won since Dean lost. Jericho lost at Fastlane and it made him sick to have to say he was beaten not once, but twice by AJ Styles. This "new generation" thinks they own the place, yadda yadda yadda. Ambrose goes after Jericho for going from being a rebel to wearing that ridiculous scarf-thing and so on. While Jericho was dreaming of schmoozing with celebrities, Ambrose was leaving arenas bloody and bruised. He wants to know where's the guy who wrestled for ECW and made waves all over the world.

Wrestlemania 32 card:
- Pre-show: Andre Battle Royal (Mark Henry looks for one last big win in Texas).
- U.S. Title: Del Rio vs. Neville
- Tag Team Titles (TLC): New Day vs. Usos vs. Dudleys vs. Dragons
- Divas' Title: Charlotte vs. Sasha vs. Becky vs. Brie
- Vickie Guerrero Invitational Divas Battle Royal to get the other TD castmembers on the show and the other Divas a payday because "everyone's got to get on the card."
- Miz TV with Stone Cold Steve Austin (Miz spends weeks before this taking shots at Austin's movie career, MizTV being a bigger deal than Austin's podcast, and so on, so people are begging to see him get a stunner in Dallas. I like the idea of Hollywood Miz only drinking champagne instead of beer and all that kind of stuff. Just let Miz get under people's skins and taunt Stone Cold in the build-up to WM32.)
- IC Title: Owens vs. Styles
- Taker/Brock vs. all four members of the Wyatt Family. If Cena or Sting can safely get back in the ring for WM32, that's an option for Taker, too. If they go that route, Brock has a gauntlet match against the Wyatts.
- Hardcore match: Ambrose vs. Y2J
- WWE Championship: HHH vs. Reigns

More wrestling coming up.
