Raw Reax - 2/15/16

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Raw.
The main event for Fastlane should be great. There's a good combination of styles at play there.

I hope after HHH loses the title, The Authority get removed from power by the Board of Directors. I think it will have run its course shortly after WM32.

- IC Title match:
How did Breeze earn an IC Title match? He's been a non-entity for months now.

I like how Owens and Ambrose interact. They're fighters in a world of entertainers.

Enjoyable powerbomb spot.

This match has been pretty good so far.

Ziggler's ring work is always impressive.

Clever spot with Owens having several options to cannonball people.

Good match overall. Owens vs. Zayn for the title at WM32? Or maybe Styles would make more sense.

I'm curious what Ambrose does at WM32 now. A match with Jericho doesn't intrigue me unless we get some really inspired heel work from Y2J.

Owens vs. Ziggler is rushed for Sunday, but it can still be good.

Hopefully the Cutting Edge Peep Show sets up a match of some kind with some active wrestlers, even if it's just against a team like Golden Truth.

The NFL is really protective about its flagship game...

I hope Big E has as much success as Henry has had, if not more.

- Henry vs. E:
New Day are so much fun to watch.

That was OK for a battle of big men.

A Brie Bella segment is never something I really look forward to. I have a feeling she'll be in the title picture at WM32 as well. It makes sense from a storyline perspective, and gives a veteran presence there. I just wonder if it would take away from Charlotte vs. Sasha (vs. Becky?).

Damn. Charlotte sticking it to Brie here.

Charlotte's the heel for wanting Brie to leave WWE? Her retiring both Bellas would be heralded.

Meh segment for a meh feud. The sooner Brie taps to the Figure 8, the better.

- Miz vs. Styles:
I have a feeling we're in for a triple threat at Fastlane.

This is picking up pretty nicely.

Styles kicking out of the SCF is nice as far as showing he's not beneath Miz.

Styles was pretty impressive here.

Glad to have Styles cut a big promo there instead of being passive.

Jericho's character is pretty dull right now.

Nice tease of using a table only not to.

I like the Dudleys showing some fire and not wanting to just be a nostalgia act.

Funny plug for the WWE Network.

The Dudleys are one of the most decorated tag teams ever given all the titles they've held in different promotions.

I was hoping for the Dudleys vs. the Usos at Fastlane. Hopefully we get New Day vs. Usos vs. Dudleys vs. Lucha Dragons in a big TLC match at WM32.

- Summer Rae vs. Paige:
Whoa! Summer Rae's actually getting a match on TV.

Summer's not bad. I wish they used her and Emma more instead of, say, the Bellas.

That was fine for what it was. Did they just need footage for "Total Divas" or something.

I can't wait to see the triple threat at Fastlane.

I like Heyman cutting right to the chase and having Reigns come out.

Heyman getting personal with Reigns here. He's great at getting heat.

That was mostly a good Heyman/Reigns segment. I do think Roman's catchphrase is a little forced. Imagine if Stone Cold shoehorned "Austin 3:16" into almost every promo.

The Dudleys helping out Heyman is a nice throwback.

So, Ambrose/Reigns vs. the Dudleys tonight?

Interesting award. They don't really reference Vince, Sr. much. I assume Triple H gets it.

Funny Outcasts promo, even if the references were pretty dated.

- Ryder vs. Slater:
I'm liking this well enough.

And that ends the "Superstars" section of the show.

Another weird Golden Truth promo. I'm ready for them to be an official thing. Them getting involved with Amell vs. the Cosmic Wasteland makes sense.

- Dragons/Neville vs. Del Rio/Sheamus/Rusev:
I've enjoyed the aerial displays so far.

Good stuff here, with the battles between the high-flyers and the more powerful wrestlers.

Good match overall.

I KIND OF want to see Cameron team up with Naomi and Tamina given how they worked together on live events this weekend. She's still pretty rough in the ring, though.

A two-out-of-three falls match between Del Rio and Kalisto would be great!

- Naomi vs. Becky:
That was OK for the time it had. They could have saved Paige vs. Summer Rae or Slater vs. Ryder for Superstars in order to give this more time.

Sasha's a great antihero. There's no booing her.

I have a feeling we're in for Wyatts vs. big guys at Fastlane.

Weird Bray promo, but aren't they all?

Strowman vs. Show could be a mess. They clearly want Braun to be an important name, though.

- Strowman vs. Show:
That was probably mercifully short. Braun does need to be able to work longer matches, though, if he's going to get a big push.

BAH GAWD HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE!!

More wrestling coming up.
