Spike Dudley note, Bret Hart gets press, ROH PPV sells out, matches set for ROH PPV and TV, Lockdown lineup, announcer misses Smackdown, Interview with EC3, former IC Champion finishing up?, Raw audience, work out like Ryder, and Questions on tuning out of Raw, Brock/Taker vs. Wyatts, the ECW death toll, Kliq membership, and Vince's feelings toward Bryan

Spike Dudley has someone impersonating him to take independent bookings. Spike is retired, and isn't taking any bookings. I would have loved to have seen him make a cameo during the Wyatts vs. ECW feud late last year. If he didn't come back for that, I don't know why he'd come back for anything else.

Bret Hart's battle with prostate cancer was covered by the NY Daily News. No real update on his progress after successful surgery. Hopefully that's a good thing.

ROH's 14th anniversary PPV has sold out. The show is next weekend, and features a number of top NJPW talents.

- Officially added to the PPV:
-- Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Fish for the TV Championship.
-- BJ Whitmer vs. Adam Page

Both additions make sense.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Announced for the next set of ROH TV tapings:
- Kenny Omega vs. ACH
- Adam Cole vs. KUSHIDA

I'm curious to see how Omega does going forward. He could be a top name in the ROH-NJPW agreement.

Set for next week's TNA Lockdown special (airing during Impact's normal timeslot on Pop):
- Matt Hardy vs. EC3 for the World Championship in Six Sides of Steel
- Dollhouse vs. Kim/Rayne/Sky in Lethal Lockdown
- Trevor Lee vs. Tigre Uno for the X-Division Championship in Six Sides of Steel
- Beer Money vs. Bram/Eric Young in Six Sides of Steel
- Odarg vs. Eli Drake in Six Sides of Steel

That's not a bad card. They're missing some key players (Lashley, Angle, Tyrus, Galloway, Bennett), but for a two-hour special episode with barely any build, it will work.

Mauro Ranallo was pulled from doing commentary on Smackdown due to contracting the flu. Obviously WWE doctors didn't clear him because they're afraid he'll ruin Michael Cole's push. Also Vince is burying him because he made his name outside WWE, and they only signed him because they didn't want NJPW making money from him instead. Keep up with your favorite dirtsheets to keep abreast of this and other clickbait sensationalism.

- Ranallo commented on missing the show on Twitter. Obviously he's covering for having heat with Vince because of his girlfriend, or whatever the new crazy conspiracy is floating around.

EC3 talked ahead of next week's big Lockdown special. He's been one of the best parts of pro wrestling. It's a shame so many people have given up on TNA and are missing it.

Wade Barrett addressed the stories of him leaving WWE when his current contract expires. There's still time before his contract expires, so things could change for him one way or another (like Dolph Ziggler before him). If he does leave, it's possible he leaves the wrestling world entirely. Unless he really wants to work in another country, I don't see why he'd voluntarily leave a high-paying wrestling gig to take a lesser one somewhere else. Either way, there's no official word one way or another about his future at this time.

Raw's audience Monday was 3.48 million. After last week's Bryan bump, they're pretty much back where they were. Getting ratings higher is going to be a difficult, long-term process.

Zack Ryder gave workout tips as part of WWE's partnership with Tapout. The WWE-Tapout relationship is going to really grow in the future.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WHOA. Rare moment of clarity from Dave there. It's usually all Vince's fault. Yes, there are people choose to watch later via DVR, YouTube, etc. That way they can skip commercials, segments featuring wrestlers they don't like, etc.

2. Another shocker. Normally that kind of thinking would be dismissed as WWE ignoring continuity for letting two sworn enemies team up. I think it's a good idea given their mutual issues with the Family. They don't have to be BFFs to both want to get rid of the Wyatts.

3. I don't think it was an ECW thing as much as a "doing drugs and/or taking a lot of bumps" thing.

Nothing to really add to 4. He was kind of a Kliq associate more than a Kliq member. I guess it's like when New Day worked with LoN, but weren't actually part of LoN.

5. I wish more fans got this. You can like someone as a person, but not see them as a top competitor. You can also dislike them as a person, but still see money in pushing them. It's worth noting Vince did book him as a top guy and champion for a time before Bryan had to give up the WWE Title. He eventually came to conclusion it was worth giving Bryan a shot at that level.

More wrestling tomorrow.
