Impact Wrestling Reax - 2/9/16

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling.
I really enjoy heel Matt Hardy these days. He actually gets the crowd to hate him.

Tyrus has a point about keeping EC3 undefeated for so long.

That's a pretty impressive list of victims of the Matt Hardy Brand.

I was really hoping for a Lashley/Matt match to be set up. That could be great.

- Lashley vs. Bram:
Lashley's just amazing. Quick, powerful, and with a solid technical background. I wish WWE was getting him now instead of when they did; he's much better in 2016.

Lashley as a dominant beast is great to watch. Does he go for the KOTM Title next? He should.

I'm excited for when we do get Matt vs. EC3 again.

Bryan and Angle leaving within a month of each other is really sad.

Yeah, they're really forcing Mike Bennett as a thing. He's OK, but not at the level they're pushing him.

Funny knock on the UK by Bennett.

Take a drink every time someone makes a reference to "miracles" in relation to Bennett...

Hahahaha Angle won't even wrestle this goof.

I missed the Boozer Cruiser. We never would have gotten that in NXT/WWE, unfortunately.

- Tigre vs. Lee:
I like that Tigre's fired up to get the title back after Trevor Lee took him to school last week.

I also like that Lee doesn't need any crazy fancy moves to wreck Tigre.

That wasn't bad. I like what Trevor brings to the table.

Wow. Beer Money's going right to asking for that title shot, huh?

You know some 16-year-old goths are eating this Decay gimmick up.

- Beer Money vs. Steve/Abyss:
Good mix of hard-hitting stuff with Roode's great technical wrestling.

That was OK, I guess. It kind of hurt the Decay as a threat to the tag team champs.

At least Decay got their heat back after the match.

The Monster's Ball match should be pretty cool, although I worry it will turn into a hardcore spotfest. The Wolves are really bland with promos.

Reby also appreciates being saved from Awesome Kong. I wish we were getting Matt/Reby vs. EC3/Kong...

Wow, that's a pretty bad security team for letting Grado hit the ring.

If Grado gets his job back, does Eli have to lost his? I hope not. I've liked him for the most part.

I'm excited for Galloway vs. Angle. Drew should be a focal point for TNA in 2016. Him winning the World Title at Slammiversary would work for me.

- Madison vs. Jade:
Madison worked hard in that one. Jade wasn't bad.

Gail is the Roman Reigns/John Cena of the Knockouts division. With no Taryn or Kong, it's going to be tough to see someone actually pose a threat to her.

The obvious route to go is Grado vs. Eli for Grado's job. I just hope that doesn't lead to Grado winning Eli's briefcase, too. Good heeling by Eli in this segment.

- Angle vs. Galloway:
Angle's obviously still got it. It's going to be crazy without him around.

NICE ankle lock to Future Shock sequence.

Galloway's got a lot fight in him.

I hope this isn't a start of finisher spam. Two Angle Slams should be able to put pretty much anyone down.

Both men are really laying it all out there.

WHAT'S SUPLEX CITY DOING IN THE IMPACT ZONE??

Yeah, that third Angle slam should have done it. This is overkill, and takes away from the credibility of things.

Angle can take a lot of punishment. Damn.

That was a really intense match.

Profanity is SO cheap.

That was a valiant effort by Spud, but Tyrus is the bear to his Leo DiCaprio.

Great stuff for EC3 to be the hero. EC3 vs. Tyrus when? EC3/Spud vs. Matt/Tyrus could be good, too.

More wrestling coming up.
