Read on for my ideas for booking tonight's GFW special event.
- Prichard announcement:
Basically, Prichard declares the title vacant and Low Ki/LAX demand Ki automatically get the championship. James Storm interrupts and isn't too keen on that idea. Prichard books Storm vs. Ki for the World Title in the main event.
- Super X Cup Final:
If Taiji's going to be a regular, have him win. Either way, this needs to be a big deal and they need to push the winner as a threat in the title picture.
- Sonjay vs. Trevor:
I think Sonjay deserves the win after having his title stolen and security defending the thief/not getting his property back. I mean, what the hell was that all about?
- Sienna vs. Gail:
If Gail vs. Kong is possible at BFG as Gail's last major match, I'm all for that. That doesn't need the Knockouts Championship. After Sienna beat Rosemary, they shouldn't throw her reign away so easily.
- OVE debut:
OVE destroys some jobbers to show what they're all about.
- Sydal vs. Lashley:
I'm not a big Sydal fan, but Lashley doesn't "need" the win here to get into a title picture. Sydal scores the upset.
- Ki vs. Storm:
Storm deserves the nod here, given his commitment to GFW compared to Ki's. I'd like to see if Storm can lead the company as the top babyface with Alberto's situation. I like the idea of doing Storm vs. EC3 at BFG after Storm feuds with LAX for a while. They can also do Ki vs. Sydal for Sydal's title match after his win earlier in the night. LAX won't take too kindly to that.
