Interviews with Kazarian/Breezango/McIntyre/Corino/HHH, 20 years of DX, assorted WWE press, more WWE Network footage, GFW announcing new European deal soon?, UK names to WWEPC, Impact audience, and Questions on wrestlers being busted open, Sapolsky in NXT, fixing 205 Live, female commentators, pushing Magnum TA, and the GWF on the Network

Frankie Kazarian discussed Daniels winning the ROH Championship and more:
- Daniels' title win was a wonderful angle. Things have really improved in the title picture in the past six months or so.

- I'm waiting for Kazarian to get his own world title win.

- People were a little underwhelmed with Daniels as champion. He got steamrolled by the much hotter Cody. Daniels is obviously really talented, but Cody is lighting the wrestling world on fire.

- It's cool that Joe, AJ, and the Addiction are all on good terms and all doing well.

- The obvious question is will Kazarian "pull a Chris Jericho" and branch out more into music as an alternative to taking bumps.

- I can see how a wrestler-musician doesn't want to tie the two too closely. He wants to be successful at both.

- Kazarian can be pretty successful staying in ROH given his longevity there. I think it's a matter of time before he's world champion if he continues working there.

Triple H and Sean Waltman commemorated 20 years of DX. It's funny to think that the degenerate rebels now have big behind-the-scenes responsibilities.

Breezango discussed Fashion Files, Southpaw Regional Wrestling, and more on Talk is Jericho.

Drew McIntyre promoted Takeover:Brooklyn on Edge & Christian's podcasts.

Charlotte is promoting WWE in China. I expect more of that in the years to come.

WWE promoted Kal Penn attending Smackdown, meeting Jinder Mahal and the Singhs. Does that make him a heel, too? I just hope he doesn't cost Shinsuke his title match.

Ric Flair introduced this year's PGA Championship.

WWE Network continues to upload episodes of World Class Championship Wrestling from 1982 to 1984. All episodes from 1984 are now up.

WWE names did a yoga session at the site of Summerslam. Barclays Center has been a big WWE partner lately. MSG's loss is their gain.

Finn Balor met rapper Action Bronson. It's a shame no wrestler got that stage name first. It's amazing.

Jeff Jarrett teased an announcement related to Germany, believed to be an upcoming TV deal for the market. That would be great news for GFW.

WWE UK talents and PROGRESS promoter Jim Smallman will be spending time in the WWE Performance Center for a few weeks. I'm curious what Smallman's role will be, as the UK talents will obviously be working some NXT events. Plans for a regular UK brand are still on hold as WWE evaluates costs related to the Network.

Impact drew 277,000 viewers Thursday night, virtually even with the previous week. Next week's show has been built as a big deal, and is semi-live. It's going to be a big test for growing GFW's audience.

WWE Network has added more 1980s live events to the Old School section.

Natalya promoted WWE's social media reach for the Calgary Sun.

Steve Corino talked to Sports Illustrated:
- Corino was one of the best parts of ROH while he was there, and a key employee. I hope he's able to pass on a lot of what made him successful to the WWEPC recruits.

- Corino has definitely had a lot of experience to pull from.

- WWE is trying to make the most of their training experience. I think there's something to be said for wrestling around the world first, but hopefully a lot of talents pick up from people who have worked in so many different places.

- I hope some of WWE's Chinese recruits pay off. They definitely got workers from different backgrounds and styles, which is good.

Alexa Bliss was on SportsCenter, because why wouldn't she be?

Triple H discussed Ronda Rousey's potential WWE future.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Unless an error is particularly careless or it happens with some regularity, it's usually just chalked up as something that happens every so often in the really physical world of pro wrestling.

2. Gabe is turning his back on the WWN Universe!! They should book an Autumn of Gabe storyline to capitalize on his corporate heel turn. It would definitely be a big change for him, and for WWN.  I wouldn't blame him a bit for taking the position if both sides see it as a good fit for him. I think it'd be great to not have stories of people throwing fits backstage. It looks badly on the wrestling business.

3. Maybe. As long as it's presented as the sideshow division for diehard indie fans, its audience is going to be limited. I don't know if putting it before Smackdown is the answer, as a lot of fans would just come for the main show instead of potentially staying for cruiserweight action. Smackdown already has people who don't get TV time. They don't need to compound that by putting the cruisers there. Keep them on the longer show.

4. They probably just preferred her as a host and interviewer, which she does excel at. No complaints there. I think they made the right move for the MYC, as Lita and Renee would be two relatively inexperienced commentators. Having JR there makes it a bigger deal than having Renee would be. I would like to see more roles for women as referees and commentators going forward, though. I hope that's coming.

5. Everyone seems to think he would have really been a hit.

6. It will depend on how much of a demand there is for it compared to other footage they're adding to the vault. They have a mountain of footage to add, and can only spend resources to digitize so much of it at a time!

More wrestling tomorrow.
