More NXT live events set, Flair updates, GFW World Title update, WWE Network schedule changes, Kanellis celebrates important milestone, wrestling museum closing down, Magnum TA issues at Disneyworld, Interview with Lashley, WWE-Special Olympics event, special Brooklyn shirt, GFW taping outside of Impact Zone, GFW special event, Raw audience, McIntyre documentary, Raw names at MLB game, Smackdown note and dark matches, and Questions on HHH being disappointed in Vince's booking, why Vince doesn't like teams, Rock's pull backstage, Rock at Mania again, and favorite titles

NXT has announced new live events in Florida and the Northeast. I assume the Florida events are in addition to their regular live events featuring a lot of talents not yet on NXT TV.

Charlotte thanked fans for their support as Ric continues to recover.

- Dolph Ziggler put Flair over with Sports Illustrated. I can definitely see the influences.

- Seth Rollins discussed Flair on SportsCenter. Flair transcends the wrestling world.

GFW will announce the status of their World Championship at Destination X. They have the opportunity to do something big there. Could we see the return of the BFG Series to declare a champion?

Rather than air "Table for 3" after Raw, WWE Network ran a Ric Flair special celebrating his retirement and its retirement. No word on when the Flair/Steamboat/Sting episode will run.

Mike Kanellis discussed overcoming an addiction to painkillers. I'm very glad he's been able to recover and make it to the big stage of WWE. The spiral of addiction can be a very tragic thing.

A pro wrestling museum in Pennsylvania is shutting down following Royal Rumble 2018 in order for its owner to spend more time with his grandchildren. I can't fault him for wanting to be a family man after three decades of giving himself to his love of the business.

Magnum TA recently had issues getting around Disneyworld, which got local press. It's a tough situation trying to make things accessible to everyone. I hope things get resolved for him to be able to enjoy the park in the future.

Lashley and his MMA manager did a conference call:
- Lashley's one heck of a talent to have been on the shelf for so long between GFW runs. I'm glad everyone's working together.

- I'm surprised he's able to do so well at both endeavors.

- The decision of how much time to spend in MMA is a big one.

- Anthem doesn't want its world champion to bring negative press to the company.

- HAHAHAH I love Lashley turning the Alberto question into a work and pushing for himself to get the title.

- Between getting TV exposure in GFW and not getting a lot of work, a lot of people would rather work GFW.

- I expect more new names in GFW soon.

- WWE dropped the ball on an amazing talent. Stop me if you've heard that before. I hope they don't do the same with Apollo Crews and some of the other names not doing much.

- Lashley being diplomatic with Trump. I can respect that, since there are a lot of people who still support the president really strongly.

- Flair is something else. He's made it through a lot.

- India was a big deal. I'm glad GFW got to go there.

- Lashley vs. Angle was great. It's a shame Lashley isn't known on the stage of WWE names.

- Lashley's had some incredible feuds and matches.

- Oh, we'll definitely see more crossover, given the success of other crossovers.

- It's definitely smart to stir up wrestling fans about a potential MMA crossover, to get further attention. Works every time!

- Oh yeah, the odds of making it in either endeavor are small as it is.

- Concussions are absolutely scary.

- There are ways to help people in all those situations.

- I think Lashley can continue to be a success on a part-time basis for some time to come. He's good.

Raw stars and Dana Warrior were at a Special Olympics event Tuesday. Warrior is a big ambassador for those kinds of endeavors.

Finn Balor has a special Brooklyn Balor Club shirt. That's cool. We'll see more of that coming.

GFW will be taping footage at The Crash on September 2, and plans to tape further footage at other independent events to fill out material up until BFG on November 5. That will be interesting.

GFW is doing a "Latin Night" in association with a local chamber of commerce. That's kind of odd with LAX being such racial stereotypes and heels; what kind of message does that send? Otherwise, I like the outreach.

Raw drew 3.23 million viewers, almost even with last week. Next week's post-Summerslam show is going to be a big milestone.

Drew McIntyre's Wrestlemania week was the subject of a documentary. He had quite the memorable run before hitting NXT.

Big Cass, Braun Strowman, and Alexa Bliss were part of a presentation at a New York Yankees game. That size difference is amazing.

Tuesday's Smackdown was said to be a legitimate sellout. That's great!

Before Smackdown, Luke Harper, Sami Zayn, & Tye Dillinger beat Mike Kanellis & The Ascension. As Kanellis said on Twitter, at least he's getting paid on time!!

Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura beat Dolph Ziggler and Rusev after 205 Live. Dolph not being on Summerslam at all is pretty telling. WWE has quite the talented roster to be able to fill the card and still have really good workers on the bench.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. He shouldn't be. He knows what Vince wants on his shows. If he books something that's drastically different from what Vince wants in a "WWE superstar" and the talent doesn't fit Vince's vision, he's doing his boss a disservice in running developmental.

2. I've never heard that. He definitely sees tag teams primarily as vehicles for singles stars to eventually break from if possible. If a team creates one singles guy and one flop, I'd think that he'd see the team as serving its purpose in creating that one star.

3. I do remember Kevin Nash wasn't too happy with working with him, as he felt the nWo should get more offense in on the WWF main eventers. Other than that, nothing at the level of "Rocky held me back" when he was a full-time star. I do think there were people resentful of him as a part-timer, though, getting his own locker room and "using WWE as a promotional vehicle," them being pushed aside for him, etc.

4. I expect he'll do something at some point if he gets a break in the next few years. I could see him doing a tag match or something. I do think we probably got his last big run, though.

5. I'm partial to the world titles I grew up with, the "Winged Eagle" belts, the Smoking Skull, The Big Gold Belt, and the Undisputed Title.

More wrestling tomorrow.
