Assorted WWE press, Interviews with Miz+Maryse/Prichard/Ryder/Matt Hardy, Swann update, Elias' album out, Cody back on Arrow, SDL contenders tournament, more Impact TV dates and BFG set, Jeff Hardy still working, and Questions on Miz & Mrs vs. 205 Live, which companies wrestlers want to work for, USA getting Impact, Lashley vs. Lesnar in an MMA style bout, and Lacey Evans

Big Show was part of a Special Olympics presentation, representing WWE. I expect he'll be an ambassador there for quite a while to come.

The Miz and Maryse were on Sam Roberts' show. Miz has really been valuable for WWE inside and outside the arena.

Bruce Prichard talked on Busted Open about his WWE Network show and more. It's always good to hear the perspective of someone who was actually there.

Zack Ryder hung out at Funko.

Rich Swann was not at Slammiversary following his injury. I hope he's able to be back soon. He's really had his momentum stalled lately.

Elias' four-song album is now available for streaming on Spotify. I still want to see him work with Double J.

Cody is returning for several episodes of "Arrow," clearing off some of his wrestling schedule to be part of the show. He's had quite the resume since leaving WWE.

Zack Ryder and Matt Hardy spoke at San Diego Comic Con.

Smackdown Live will determine the Bludgeon Brothers' next opponents in a tournament featuring New Day, SAnitY, The Bar, and the Usos. Team Hell No is completely out of the picture now.

Roman Reigns was involved in the 2018 Nick Kid's Choice Sports Awards.

Impact Wrestling will return to the site of Slammiversary for TV tapings on August 12 and August 13. That's a really quick turnaround. I hope they can get decent crowds.

Bound For Glory is set for October 14 in New York. The venue seats 800 fans, so that gives you an idea of what they're thinking of drawing for their biggest show of the year. Interestingly, that's fewer fans than they had at Slammiversary.

Jeff Hardy is still working live events, losing to Shinsuke Nakamura before being attacked by Randy Orton. So, he's not so badly hurt that he has to pull from wrestling entirely.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Miz's show is MUCH more important. They're actually getting paid to make it, and want it to be a success. Honestly, the shows probably have two very different audiences anyway.

2. There's something to be said about working with the biggest stars on the biggest stage, even if the pay isn't a factor. Of course people get burned out working meaningless matches on the road, and would probably have more fun in NXT or somewhere else, but ultimately it is a job and is going to have its down spots like every other job.

3. I don't see that happening. I think WWE would try to stop it, for one, but even if they didn't, there'd be real skepticism USA could make Impact a hot product that could be a hit given its current place in wrestling.

4. I doubt it. It will probably be suplexes, spears, F5s, etc. WWE fans want to see a WWE-style match, after all.

5. I definitely see the potential there, and natural charisma/personality, which is critical.

More wrestling tomorrow.
