Nikolai Volkoff, Grandmaster Sexay and Brickhouse Brown pass away

Read on for news and condolences regarding these three superstars.
Nikolai Volkoff passed away at the age of 70. PWInsider gave a rundown of his career. Volkoff was well admired and respected for his work. He will be greatly missed.

- WWE.com looked back at his career.

- The Iron Sheik commented on his passing.

- Matt Hardy remembered his first WWE opponent.

Grandmaster Sexay passed away due to suicide in a prison cell. PWInsider recapped his career as well. A tragic end for the superstar.

- Triple H weighed in on the loss, including WWE's official look back at Sexay's career.

- Jeff Jarrett remembered his former Memphis partner.

- Rikishi remembered his former Too Cool partner. Their spot in the Royal Rumble is one of my favorite all-time moments from that event.

- Local press covered Sexay's passing, indicating he was in a cell alone at the prison and didn't appear to be suicidal when arrested.

- Sean Waltman discussed Sexay's passing. Sexay was kept in his own cell due to his fame potentially drawing attention from other inmates.

- Jerry Lawler commented on his son's passing. That's got to be incredibly tough.

- Scotty 2 Hotty also commented on Sexay passing. It's odd how people who don't necessarily bond outside the ring can do well together on TV.

Brickhouse Brown also passed away Sunday.

Trevor Lee's father, a wrestler and promoter in his own right, passed away as well.

- Lee set up a GoFundMe to help pay for funeral costs. That's a big burden. I'm glad people were able to help him out.

My condolences and best wishes to the friends and family of all these names.

More wrestling coming up.
