Vintage WWE Network additions, Flair edition of WWE 2K19, Vince honored, more MYC workers, Titus lawsuit update, assorted WWE press, Titus on Hogan apology, SDCC interviews, SDL and Miz/Mrs audiences, Global Wars set, and Questions on using the new TV deals to keep Brock in WWE, a Summerslam weekend cash-in, low blow Shinsuke, how WWE sees Ellsworth, and disrupting Extreme Rules

WWE Network is now adding Coliseum Home Video releases to its VOD section. The first set included:
- 1985 and 1989 Hulk Hogan videos
- 1986 Bruno Sammartino and Randy Savage/Miss Elizabeth videos
- 1987 George "The Animal" Steele, Hart Foundation, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Ken Patera videos
- 1989 "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan videos
- 1993 Bret Hart and British Bulldog videos

WWE 2K19 will have a Ric Flair-themed edition. The edition will recreate Flair's rivalries with Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage, and The Undertaker, and will include Starrcade 1983 as an arena on top of a replica WWE Hall of Fame ring, a Flair Funko Pop! figure, and, for a special limited edition, a plaque featuring a piece of a robe. With Flair's health scare, they made a plan to honor the legend sooner rather than later.

WWE's latest Hidden Gems, honoring the Poffo Familiy, are:
- Pat Patterson vs. Angelo Poffo from Championship Wrestling from Florida in 1977
- Randy Savage and Magnum TA vs. The Mongolians from GCW in 1983
- Nick Bockwinkel vs. Lanny Poffo from Pro Wrestling USA in 1984

Vince McMahon was honored by Adweek as one of the 100 most cutting-edge CEOs, due to the big TV deals WWE signed.

The Mae Young Classic has added Puerto Rico's Zeuxis, NXT UK's Isla Dawn, recent WWEPC signing Lacey Lane, and China's occasional WOH competitor Karen Q.

Titus O'Neil has a mediation conference scheduled in his "Swerved" lawsuit set for January 9 in Florida. That's a loooooonnnnngggggg time to keep the lawsuit going. It's possible WWE and Titus are trying to get it dropped due to its costliness.

Maria Kanellis will report to the WWE Performance Center soon to train for her TV return. I don't expect her to wrestle regularly, but she's looking to get back into shape post-pregnancy.

Mickie James promoted WWE and her music. An Elias/Mickie pairing could be pretty fun.

Smackdown Live got press for Saturday's live event.

Adam Cole's Twitter account was briefly hacked by someone looking to make money from selling his information. Cole has since recovered it.

Titus O'Neil spoke about Hulk Hogan's apology and more on Busted Open. I hope WWE listens to their minority performers on this.

Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, and Becky Lynch spoke at San Diego Comic Con. Rey expects to have a pretty long career, it seems. I would have thought he would have been retired by now, but he's going to keep on going.

Smackdown Live drew 2.34 million viewers, a slight boost from last week.

"Miz and Mrs" debuted with 1.47 million viewers. That's a pretty impressive number of fans kept from SDL. For comparison, NXT on USA Network drew 841,000 viewers and the most recent "Total Bellas" drew 610,000 viewers.

ROH and NJPW Global Wars is set for:
- November 7 in Maine
- November 8 in Massachusetts
- November 9 in New York
- November 11 in Ontario
-- No talent has been announced at this time. Those are generally pretty successful events for ROH. We'll see how they do in 2018.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Did Paul Heyman send in this question?? As was alluded to, I think he'd actually be more valuable going to UFC for a while. They've really stretched his character and storyline at this point. It's time for both sides to have something fresh. I think that money will be better spent on developing the future of the company, with more recruitment and development around the globe. They also need to invest in content and strategies that will increase Network subscriptions. That really needs to be a priority. And, of course, they need to compensate the people whose work, on-screen and off, got them those big TV deals in the first place.

2. It wouldn't shock me in the least if they had a cash-in either at Summerslam or the next night on Raw. They're clearly hesitant to put the title on Roman.

3. WWE has really struggled to figure out how to feature Nakamura. He obviously doesn't fit in with usual mold of a WWE superstar, so they've had to balance what worked pre-WWE with something people who don't watch NJPW or NXT (i.e. most of the audience) can get behind. It's really shown the disconnect between Triple H's approach to recruiting and focusing on talent and Vince's vision for superstars.

4. They clearly liked him well enough to keep him around as long as they did and then bring him back. He really got a lot from what was originally presumably going to just be one squash match.

5. Fans watch WWE to see the performers in the ring, not the people in the crowd. WWE has been far too lenient with letting the disrupters dictate the show. I hope Vince got the message that beachballers are going to do what they do no matter what he books, so he might as well book what he thinks the audience as a whole will like.

More wrestling tomorrow.
