Podcast notes, Rey returning to NJPW, MMC nominated for award, WWE names impersonate ECW names, WWE covers Brock vs. Cormier, Rock on working with Cena, Impact audience, All In announce team, more MYC names announced, WWEPC profiles coaches, Mark Henry gives advice, Raw live event notes, and Questions on Zeus in the WWE HoF, GLOW in the Rumble, MVP leaving MLW, WWE being on Fox Sports, and Trump appearing for WWE again

Edge and Christian did a Q&A edition of their podcast.

Bruce Prichard is on Chris Jericho's podcast. It's always kind of funny to have a podcast host as a guest on another podcast.

Becky Lynch spoke with Maria Menounos.

Rey Mysterio will work NJPW's August 12 event, the final night of this year's G1 Climax. While Rey is expected to join WWE in the next few months, he's still taking some dates in the meantime.

WWE Mixed Match Challenge is being considered for the Leaders Sports Awards. So, yes, WWE's a sport in this occasion.

WWE names impersonated ECW stars. Nakamura as Sabu was perfect. Sonya as Raven was pretty good, too.

WWE Now covered the Brock Lesnar/Daniel Cormier issues, which is a reversal from them consciously not mentioning Brock's UFC appearance during Raw. Seemingly there are different rules for TV compared to the online shows.

The Rock discussed working with John Cena. They're on good terms now, but there was definitely heat at the start.

Impact Wrestling drew 284,000 viewers Thursday night. As we've seen with WWE, the actual audience number doesn't matter much as long as someone's willing to continue airing them!

All In has set its announce team. Presumably they'll rotate throughout the night. The show is definitely living up to the idea of so many non-WWE personnel working together.

Io Shirai, NXT:UK's Jenny, Canadian star Nicole Matthews, and WWEPC trainee Kacy Catanzaro have all been announced for the Mae Young Classic. Io's got to be the favorite this year, but hopefully some other names also get to shine.

WWE profiled their Performance Center coaches. It's quite the mix of styles and backgrounds.

Mark Henry gave advice at a recent WWEPC tryout. It's cool to see the attitude of everyone working together instead of everyone at each other's throats trying to take a spot.

At Raw's July 13 live event in West Virginia:
- Jinder Mahal teamed with Elias to win a four-way match, defeating The Revival, Titus Worldwide, and Heath Slater/Rhyno. I'm curious if Jinder and Elias will be a more regular duo.
- Mickie James teamed with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan in a loss to Bayley, Ember Moon, and Natalya.
- Alexa Bliss retained the Raw Women's Championship in a triple threat match with Nia Jax and Sasha Banks. It's interesting Sasha and Bayley weren't together.
- Roman Reigns and Bobby Roode defeated Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler in the main event. No Seth Rollins, interestingly.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'd like to see it! I know No Holds Barred is pretty "vintage" at this point and wouldn't get them a lot of press, but he's definitely deserving.

2. It's a no-brainer, especially when WWE needs to fill up the women's Royal Rumble. I would have put decent odds on it happening in this year's edition, to the point where I'd be surprised if it wasn't brought up.

3. I also haven't heard anything on that front.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. They're considering it as similar to NASCAR, the NFL, etc. and it will fall under that banner.

6. Very, very low. WWE has gone out of its way to distance itself from him.

More wrestling tomorrow.
