Query on Shane McMahon, Vince's surgery, Interviews with Bruno/Jericho/Blair, what happened after Raw, potential celebrity Hall of Famer, star returning, Shooting Straight update, PPV match set, Raw audience, and Questions on Punk, Lesnar, Vince's vision, Punk, and Dallas vs. Barrett

First up, a query:
1. Shane McMahon is not returning to WWE any time soon. He's got his own thing going on in China. He's also not going to be buying TNA or anything like that. I'd consider him as having moved on from wrestling at this point.

Vince McMahon legitimately underwent hip surgery. Tough guy.

Upcoming WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino (how cool is it to say that?) was interviewed in Pittsburgh.

After Raw, Sheamus left the ring. C.M. Punk and Dolph Ziggler then challenged Cena and Ryback to a tag match, which the faces won.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

There has been talk of inducting Cyndi Lauper into the WWE Hall of Fame. They absolutely should. Her involvement in wrestling was a big deal.

Christian is expected back from injury soon. He's one of the most well-rounded people on the roster and I think he could really pass some tips on to the up-and-comers.

Here's another story on Bruno Sammartino going into the WWE Hall.

Chris Jericho talked about Bret Hart's comments on HHH, the Royal Rumble, and more.

Expect more Shooting Straight panels in the future. How crazy is it that they're promoting something that breaks kayfabe on the nights before big PPVs?

John Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback will take on The Shield at the Elimination Chamber. Should be good.

B. Brian Blair talked about the Killer Bees and more, including his feud with the Iron Sheik.

Bret Hart underwent knee surgery.

Raw's audience was 4.81 million viewers. It was a pretty solid show.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I guess it's possible that Vince would be that petty, but I think it's more of a case of wanting to give a big rub to Cena for beating Rock for the title. Cena's going to be the top guy whether we like it or not.

2. I also don't like the idea of a champion who's rarely on TV and doesn't do live events. I get the concept behind it, but I don't know if I'd be willing to go that route. I'd also like to see him work with some up-and-comers like Punk, Bryan, and Sheamus. That said, seeing him face off with Rock, Taker, Mark Henry, or Jericho would be really cool.

3. Probably the same here, since Vince's vision is more destructive.

4. I think they can make it a main event-level match, but I'd also like to see Punk in the absolute top spot because he's been consistently great.

5. I doubt it. They haven't really shown me that they want to elevate Barrett. They were probably thinking more about Dallas making an immediate impact.

More wrestling tomorrow.
