Read on for my thoughts on last night's Smackdown.
Cool opening segment. I'm glad Swagger's back in a big way. I don't know how wise it is to "give away" Ziggler vs. Del Rio, though.
Great opening match. I have high hopes for Bryan and Sin Cara in the future.
I like Del Rio wanting revenge.
WWE has all these talented people busting their asses for TV time and they give us this silliness. It's a shame that they can justify Khali having a sizable role due to his international popularity. He's so limited.
Interesting segment with the former Rhodes Scholars. They made a great team. I wouldn't have minded them as champions at all. It makes me wonder who the #1 Contenders will be with them no longer a team. Really the only heel team with credibility enough to take that role is The Shield.
I liked Sheamus vs. Sandow. Talented guys.
And The Shield continue to be a threat. I wonder what the end game is?
Barrett deserves better than this. He could really be someone if they booked him well.
At least Barrett retained some credibility by beating up Dallas. He's going to look like a joke if Dallas keeps getting the better of him in the ring, though. Dallas isn't good enough to be going over someone like Barrett clean in his first singles match.
Swagger vs. Kofi was pretty damn good. Both guys made the most of their TV time. If WWE treats these two right, I think they've got potential to be big deals in time.
Del Rio looked pretty badass there. Wow.
Good segment with Ricardo, too.
Damned solid main event between two of WWE's top workers. Both deserve big years in 2013. Hopefully Ziggler rebounds from the tapout loss. I'm not holding my breath.
THAT was an ending. They added heat to the feud and made Show more heelish. Win-win.
More wrestling coming up.
