Interviews with Anderson/Nikki/Kenely/King Mo, Punk at Wizard World, WWE Creative update, more on RVD, Diva returning?, WWE announcer gone, top indie name to WWE?, ex-World Champ at NXT, and Questions on WWE stars in movies and Cena as Champ

There are a number of links for an interview with TNA's Mr. Anderson: Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 I do wish there were more meet-and-greet events, for both WWE and TNA. Anyway, that was a good appearance for him. Definitely the "nicest" I've ever seen him be.

Nikki Bella was interviewed about dating John Cena and more. WWE's looking for attention from non-wrestling fans in their reality show ventures.

Former (and future?) TNA announcer Todd Kenely talked about being cut from TNA. The other detail I've heard is that they wanted to focus on (pro-TNA) Tenay and (pro-Aces and Eights) Taz. Honestly, I see no reason for having 3 regular announcers in the booth at a time. Too many arguing voices.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Here's how you can meet C.M. Punk at Wizard World in NYC. How cool would that be?

King Mo talked about TNA,  declaring that he wants to go for the TNA Tag Team Titles. However, he's busy preparing for another MMA bout.

WWE Creative team member (fancy name for writer) David Kreizman has agreed to stay in his role through Fall to continue the direction he's been championing and help the company find his replacement. That's nice of him. I bet Vince gives him more leeway in an attempt to keep him.

Here are some details about RVD's new WWE deal. Basically, he's not going to be around full-time and I don't think it's a long-term deal. But, hey, maybe we at least get some good matches out of it. Yeah, poor TNA can't make it to the next level no matter who's there.

Rosa Mendes was backstage at the most recent NXT tapings. No word on a return for her just yet. I hope she refocuses her game inside and outside of the ring. She, Primo, and Epico could use a second wind.

WWE has decided not to renew the contract of Matt Striker. I'm pretty disappointed. I thought he was good in any role they had him in. I would MUCH rather hear him do commentary than JBL or Lawler. Outside of his political commentary, I thought he did a good job of getting over what the wrestlers were doing, their motivations, etc.. You know, like color commentators used to do. I think he was a true unsung hero for the company, as apparently he did other jobs behind-the-scenes.

There are rumors going around about WWE bringing in Colt Cabana, but nothing is set in stone yet. He's had 2 tryouts, but obviously hasn't been picked up yet. I have NO idea why they won't bring him in. If anyone defines "sports entertainment", it's him.

Dolph Ziggler will be at the 7/11 NXT taping. I wonder who he'll lose to?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That's a pretty good answer, though the questioner's theory is good, too. Rock broke out of his wrestling character in his movies, whereas a lot of WWE movies seem to have wrestlers playing characters pretty close to what they already play.

2. Who's to say that it won't be Bryan defending against Cena? They could have Henry beat Cena, Bryan cash in MITB, and go to Bryan vs. Cena. It's crazy to me that people complain about the same old stars  and the over-40 crowd being pushed but want someone who's been in WWE even longer and has had notable injuries in the past few years. I like Henry a lot, and wouldn't mind a short title reign, but it feels hypocritical to support him as Champ.

3. Cena hasn't even reacted to it yet! Oy. Everyone loves to jump the gun.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. That's awesome! Good to hear.

More wrestling tomorrow.
