NXT taping dark match, old Taker video, Interviews with Ziggler/HBK/Barrett, another 3rd-generation Diva?, Impact audience, the WWE vault, a new WWE show?, and Questions on Jim Cornette, RVD, Max Moon, Raquel Diaz, and turning Japanese

I'm going to start listing NXT taping dark matches if I can find them. For some reason, I was unaware that those tapings had dark matches. Anyway, at the most recent taping Mojo Rawley defeated Danny Burch. I don't know much about either's abilities, but Rawley has a gimmick based on the popular "Party Rock" phenomenon and seems to be a jovial babyface. Wily Brit Danny Burch has a solid pedigree, with over 10 years of experience at 31. I've been wondering why he hasn't been used given those facts.

Here's an old video of The Undertaker granting a Make-A-Wish wish. Pretty cool.

Dolph Ziggler was interviewed before Payback to promote a WWE live event in South Africa. Good interview as always. He shoots from the hip (which could be why WWE brass doesn't like him).

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Shawn Michaels was also interviewed. I miss him... I would have loved HBK vs. Ziggler, Punk, or Bryan.

Bret Hart's daughter Alexandra, a.k.a. Beans (Beans!?) is training to become a wrestler. Meh. I'll care when she actually gets a WWE or TNA tryout. How many people train to become wrestlers and never make it?

WWE's Performance Center is set to open on 7/11. I can't wait to hear what that's like.

Wade Barrett had a Q&A. More enthusiasm for the Performance Center. I wonder what Kane and Show think about him watching them for over 15 years! I'm not crazy about a Nexus or Corre reunion at this point. I liked both, but the characters are all in different places now. And it was cool that he put over the Wyatt Family. I'm not as crazy about Neville as a lot of people are. Yes; he's athletic and high-flying, but I feel like there are a LOT of guys who are athletic and high-flying who don't stand out enough to get far. The indies are full of them. He's still young and has only had a few matches in NXT, so we'll see what he does, but right now he doesn't seem to be all that invaluable. And Bo Dallas is FINALLY showing something as a heel, but has a ways to go.

Against Game 7 of the NBA Finals (which is kind of a big deal), Impact's audience was down to 1.08 million. It's sad how few people watch wrestling in 2013.

WWE offered a look inside their HUGE video library. What if that robot becomes self-aware!? It would be smart enough to take over the whole wrestling world. Seriously, that's some crazy stuff.

WWE is looking to trademark "WWE Slam City" as a name for a new TV show. Another new TV show?  Talk about oversaturating the market. Maybe it will be on the WWE Network?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. He's burned bridges with both major promotions and Kayfabe Commentaries, so there aren't many places for him to show up!

2. That's pretty much it. WWE's a much bigger deal than TNA. Even as TNA Champion, there's no way he'd be as big of a deal as he is coming back to WWE. People might actually watch his matches now...

3. All you had to do was Google the damn name, CJ! Looking into it further, Konnan was originally set for the gimmick, but bailed. I can't really blame him given that gimmick.

Nothing to add to 4. I've heard people were high on her, but she didn't want to go into the family business.

5. Because it's an English site and not as many people care about Japanese wrestling as they do about whether Cena will ever turn heel or WWE will ever stop bring PG.

More wrestling tomorrow.
