WWE live event notes, A look at a key WWE ally, Stone Cold update, another reason WWE loves Cena, more Shootin' Straight, WWE stars at another comic convention, RVD talks TNA, and Questions on Sting, WM30, Angelina Love, no DQ matches, and a dream interview

This weekend featured Ron Simmons Appreciation Night for WWE Live. Pretty cool.

In addition to the Wyatt Family, Alex Riley, Zack Ryder, Ted DiBiase, The Great Khali, Epico, and Primo all wrestled on this weekend's WWE Live events, so they're still around!

Also present at some of this weekend's live events (in NXT's home base of Florida) were Adrian Neville, Corey Graves, Paige, Emma, Sasha Banks, and Mojo Rawley. What that means for any of them making it to WWE TV remains to be seen.

Bonnie Hammer talked about the success of WWE and more. There are reasons why she keeps it on her networks. I loved the comment about complacency. Hopefully WWE takes it to heart. They are making some great changes on the main roster and in NXT, but there are still a number of people who have been doing the same thing for so long that they're really spinning their tires.
Here's your latest "will Stone Cold ever wrestle again?" answer from JR. Honestly at this point I'm ok with never seeing another Stone Cold match. If he can still work like it's the Attitude Era, it'd be great. But I'm not holding my breath on it. WWE's got a lot of talented superstars to carry the company forward. I'm sure they'd love to have Austin back for one more match (and a lot of fans would, too), but we need to be on the assumption that it's not going to happen.

John Cena is now the face of Capri Sun. Yep, not turning heel any time soon. And WWE's staying PG. NEXT.

There will be more "Straight Shootin'" panels at upcoming WWE PPVs, which is still bizarre to me. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Times change after all.

A number of WWE stars will be at Wizard World in Chicago, including of course C.M. Punk.

RVD commented on leaving TNA. I'm going to miss his theme song...

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I guess he's like the abused spouse who keeps giving his or her significant other "one last chance"?

2. It could happen, but as of now there are no plans for Rock to work WM30. Also, Taker seems to think that he's got more than one Mania left in him. So for right now, don't count on it. Just because it's WM30, I don't necessarily think that there's going to be anything that monumental on it.

3. They had the chance to use her for their Knockouts-only PPV and it didn't happen. They know she's out there. So, I'm guessing that it's not high on either side's list of things to do.

4. Never was the match advertised as not having count-outs. I do believe that they've been consistent with that over the years. When a normal hot dog is advertised as having mustard, chili, and onions and you tell the waiter no onions, that means that it's still going to have mustard and chili. I don't want to see any more complaints about WWE's storylines being too simple when obviously a no-DQ match is too complicated for some people.

5. Vince McMahon, Sr. I think.

More wrestling tomorrow.
