Updates on Roberts/Kidd, WWE's concussion policy, Interviews with Rampage/AJ Kirsch/JR, big WWE book, TNA hires former WWE exec, why the McMahons are likely on TV, WWE announcing change?, and Questions on the MEM, live events on TV, Tessmacher, WWE signing TNA names, and live events

Here's more from Jake Roberts' continuing struggles with alcohol. The last thing we want to see is him fully relapsing.

WWE.com looked at their updated concussion policy. I'm glad they take things seriously.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson discussed TNA and more. No update on when we'll see him in the ring.

Tough Enough's AJ Kirsch talked to Larry King. It doesn't look/sound like we'll be seeing him in WWE or TNA any time soon, but he seems ok with that.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Jim Ross talked about his spoken-word tour. Sounds pretty good.

WWE is working on a book looking at the 50th Anniversary of the company. I'd be willing to check that out.

TNA has hired WWE's former VP of TV Production. That's pretty cool.

As I expected, former WWE writer Chris DeJoseph confirmed that the USA Network often pushes for the McMahons to be on TV. That would be why it feels like they're on TV for the sake of them being on TV instead of them adding something important to the storylines. I liked Stephanie being involved in AJ vs. Kaitlyn, but other than that, I haven't really been crazy about their appearances.

There are rumors that Taz and Colt Cabana (Scotty Goldman) could be going back to WWE as announcers. Here's more on that. I'd be curious to see how Cabana/Goldman would do in that role in WWE. He couldn't be worse than Lawler.

Here's a Tyson Kidd update. Tough break that such a talented guy would be out so long.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They did! I didn't remember it, but looked it up, and sure enough, that's what happened. Of course, he feuded with Kurt Angle and now they're back together. I guess the whole "enemy of my enemy" thing is coming into play.

2. If USA/NBC Universal wanted them to, maybe they would? It's not their call.

3. I miss Tessmacher, too. Talented performer.

4. People REALLY don't know how the wrestling business works, apparently. In addition to what they said, Cena doesn't decide if he's champion or not. But for the other part of the question, they've got something going in TNA and would have to start over in WWE where most of the audience has never heard of them. They'd have new names, etc.. It's a gamble.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
