2014 predictions for WWE and TNA rosters

Read on for my very informal predictions for what will happen with the superstars of WWE and TNA!

Note that these are just rough guesses.

WWE/NXT:
Adrian Neville (NXT) - At least working dark matches or live events for being brought to the main roster
Aksana - sticks around for when WWE needs enough Divas for a big tag match, etc. I don't see her getting a big push unless she works really hard
Alberto Del Rio - will keep doing his thing. Maybe some kind of gimmick change?
Alicia Fox - coming up on her last year in WWE. Will it be this year? Or maybe she surprises us and breaks out.
Antonio Cesaro - babyface push once his team splits. Bright future.
Ascension (NXT) - brought up to the main roster
Bad News Barrett - continues to float around while WWE struggles to find a use for him. As long as they've still got the names they like to push as top guys, he'll stay below the glass ceiling.
Batista  - has his last big run, making a lot of money but probably working with the same guys he did last time.
Big E Langston - continues to rise up the card.
Big Show - keeps doing the Big Show thing, popping into feuds wherever WWE wants him. Could be starting to slow down his in-ring days, but I don't see him retiring yet.
Bella Twins - I don't see any big surprises here. Maybe another feud with each other and/or going for the Divas' Title. Given who they're linked with and "Total Divas" being a thing, I think they have job security.
Bo Dallas (NXT) - Getting another crack at the main roster
Brad Maddox - a more permanent part of Raw or Smackdown once the Authority angle ends.
Brock Lesnar - stays a part-time guy. Possibly a feud with Taker and almost certainly at least another bout with either Cena or Punk.
Brodus Clay - WWE will at least attempt to push him as a heel. Maybe he becomes the IC or U.S. Champion out of it.
Camacho - repackaged, possibly sent back to NXT more permanently
Chris Jericho - Rumble entrant. Possibly coming back to work with The Shield some more. Or Antonio Cesaro? Sami Zayn? I think he'll want to get back in the ring with some rising stars.
Christian - I can honestly see him wrapping up his career sooner rather than later, but I don't know if 2014 is that year.
C.M. Punk - Will almost definitely take a break from his busy schedule. I'd be surprised if 2014's his last time in the ring.
Cody Rhodes - feuds with Goldust before getting a nice push. I see title reigns in his future.
Corey Graves (NXT) - possibly getting a chance at the main roster
Curt Hawkins - resident jobber, working in NXT for a time.
Curtis Axel - floundering and possibly forgotten about for a time.
Damien Sandow - I'm pretty sure Haitch likes him, so I think he'll EVENTUALLY get to stand out
Daniel Bryan - a top name for a time. I don't see him replacing Cena (yet?), but he'll get a nice run as main eventer. Naturally, no matter what happens, there will be complaints that it's not enough.
Darren Young/Titus O'Neil - I wouldn't be shocked if we eventually get a PTP feud. WWE likes that kind of thing. BUT with Triple H gaining power, we might begin to see tag teams take greater precedence with PTP continuing to make moves in the division. If they do feud, I have an eerie feeling WWE will lose faith or direction and it ends up not working out. I get flashbacks to Cryme Tyme, where Shad (Titus in this case) got a little push, then disappeared to leave JTG (Darren) as the hardworking but overlooked guy stuck in purgatory.
David Otunga - WWE likes using him for publicity purposes, so I'd like to think he can stay employed if he chooses to remain there. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to leave for another career in either law or entertainment.
Dean Ambrose/Roman Reigns/Seth Rollins - all three members of The Shield will have a chance to show what they can do as singles stars. I'd be very surprised if WWE doesn't give each of them ample opportunity to make their marks.
Drew McIntyre - might finally get a decent push when 3MB ends
Dolph Ziggler - continues to float around the card doing jack of importance now that there's just one World Champion
Eugene - Royal Rumble cameo
Eva Marie - I think WWE will want to keep her around as long as "Total Divas" is a thing. Whether she succeeds past that depends on how hard she works and her reputation backstage.
Evan Bourne - Yes. He's still around. I can see him coming back at the Rumble. I'd be a little surprised if he gets a push of any notable size.
Ezekiel Jackson - I'll be REALLY surprised if he gets a big push. Heck, I'll be surprised if he returns to the main roster after this long of an injury. But maybe WWE teams him with someone again and gives him another chance.
Fandango - I think he's pretty safe given how good of a worker he is. He might be a sleeper hit in the long run.
Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) - Could easily settle into generic Diva roles once that gimmick ends. Possibly a feud between them.
Goldust - has his last big run, retiring after a loss to Cody Rhodes. Maybe going back to being a producer/agent/trainer?
Great Khali - Someone higher up obviously likes him, so he'll keep popping up as long as he can I think.
Heath Slater - I can honestly see Slater becoming kind of a sleeper hit once 3MB ends.
Hornswoggle - will keep doing the Hornswoggle thing. He does have a movie coming out after all.
Hunico (current Sin Cara) - will get an attempt to break out in his role.
Jack Swagger - I can see him dropping Zeb and turning face near the end of the year. I see Cesaro turning face and breaking the team up before then.
JBL - Rumble entrant.
Jinder Mahal - possibly a wacky random face turn.
John Cena - I can see WWE not relying on Cena QUITE as much in 2014, but he'll still be important.
JoJo - I can see her continuing to train to be a contributing member of the roster.
JTG - Apparently employed for life unless someone doesn't notice his contract expiring.
Justin Gabriel - He really can't do the same thing this year, right? They have to give him a partner or change his character or SOMETHING, right? There's got to be someone in NXT they can pair him with (or put him with Tyson again). I don't see this being a breakout year, since he's been stuck in the same place for quite a time.
Kaitlyn - Divas' Champion some more. I can see her being a top Diva.
Kane - Presumably going back to the monster character once The Authority angle ends
Kofi Kingston - more midcarding.
Layla - retiring or otherwise leaving. Divas don't last long in WWE.
Leo Kruger/Adam Rose (NXT) - likely working some dark matches or live events
Los Matadores/Primo and Epico (and El Torito) - once the novelty of the gimmick wears off, they might go back to being Primo and Epico. Then again, how long did the Finlay/Hornswoggle pairing last?
Mark Henry -
Mason Ryan (NXT) - possibly another shot at the main roster
Miz - probably more midcard stuff.
Natalya - I can see her leaving at some point unless WWE gives a better focus to the Divas division and gives her some more experienced workers to work with.
Paige (NXT) - This has to be her year to be called up, right?
R-Truth - maybe another heel turn at some point?
Randy Orton - will continue to cycle into and out of main events as long as he stays clean and injury-free
Raquel Diaz (NXT) - at least introduced to the main roster as Vickie's daughter
Rey Mysterio - presumably used to further the careers of performers like Del Rio, Sin Cara, and maybe even Sami Zayn, Kalisto, and/or Adrian Neville.
Ricardo Rodriguez - I can see him becoming a regular wrestler if he stays out of trouble
Rob Van Dam - probably pops back up for another fairly brief run. No way he becomes a full-time guy.
Rosa Mendes - will either stay in the role of  "Diva we need for multi-Diva matches" or leave WWE in some way
Ryback - Will be utterly wrecked by someone like Batista, killing his momentum. WWE will then wonder "where the new stars are".
Sami Zayn (NXT) - getting a shot at the main roster
Santino Marella - will presumably keep doing the comedy thing as long as he wants to stay in WWE
Sheamus - more main event shots
Sin Cara (original) - almost certainly heads back to Mexico.
Summer Rae - will get a shot to impress in the Divas division. I can see her leaving Fandango for someone else, turning him face
Tamina Snuka - will keep floating around the Divas division. I don't see any major changes here.
Tensai - retiring? They can only have so many big guys at one time.
Triple H - another big Mania match, at least. I see him staying around a while.
Tyler Breeze (NXT) - possibly a shot at the main roster
Tyson Kidd - presumably continuing to try to make his mark
Undertaker - big match at Mania. Opponent still up in the air. Could be gearing up for his last hurrah.
Usos - presumably tag team champions
William Regal - moving further into his role working in NXT/developmental
Wyatt Family - I can see them following The Shield's path of dominance. Bray and Harper almost certainly have good futures.
Xavier Woods - getting valuable experience working on the roster here and there, but likely not pushed too hard just yet
Yoshi Tatsu - WWE could give him another chance to do something of note on the main roster.
Zack Ryder - I can honestly see him saying if he doesn't get pushed in 2014, he's going somewhere else. If he feels he can make good money on the indies, he might just leave WWE.

TNA:
Abyss/Joseph Park - The Park character will almost definitely disappear. I can see Abyss doing his thing until his contract runs out, at which point his fate is in the hands of the new regime.
Austin Aries - A "utility player" taking AJ Styles' place in working wherever on the card they need him
Bobby Roode - going in and out of main events, possibly a top guy
Brooke (Tessmacher) -  Knockouts Champion again at some point
Bully Ray - at least considering leaving TNA/retiring once his contract expires. Possibly another AJ Styles situation
Chris Sabin - fate in the hands of the new regime/Creative team. Might get a pretty good push.
Curry Man/Daniels - Possibly leaving TNA once his contract is up, depending on how business looks in June. If they couldn't keep AJ, Daniels' status isn't assured either.
Dewey Barnes/Norv Fernum - resident TNA jobbers. Maybe a surprise tag title win?
Eric Young - remaining very loyal to TNA if they'll keep him
Ethan Carter III - nice push
Gail Kim - veteran Knockout presence as long as she doesn't "lose her smile"
Garett Bischoff - probably future endeavored once his dad's contract officially expires
Gunner - will at least have an opportunity to be a top name in the new TNA
Hernandez - possibly another opportunity at getting pushed or in a tag team (maybe with Ultimate Tiger?), as is the formula with him. Could be on his way out at some point.
James Storm - featured act
Jay Bradley - might impress the new regime and get another push
Jeff Hardy - one of TNA's top names after the UK tour. I'd be surprised if he leaves.
Jessie Godderz - kind of hanging around unless someone takes a big liking to him.
Kazarian - may get a chance to break out as a singles act
Kenny King - leaves for greener pastures if TNA doesn't know what to do with him. WWE?
King Mo - stepping into the ring for TNA if Spike still wants to push Bellator
Knux/Wes Brisco - might get another chance in due time once people forget about Aces and Eights. Otherwise, future endeavored.
Kurt Angle - will remain in big matches as long as he can still "go"
Lei'D Tapa - Knockouts Champion
Madison Rayne - top Knockout, maybe champion
Magnus - will get a chance to be TNA's top name
Manik - will stick around if TNA can still make merch money/push him as an X-Division guy. Team with another X-Division guy?
Mr. Anderson - "utility player" working wherever TNA needs him
ODB - will presumably stick around, given how many times she's dodged being cut so far
Rampage Jackson - will almost definitely appear again
Rob Terry - will get another chance to get over doing what he does
Robbie E - will consistently remain employed in the "Santino/JTG/Hornswoggle" role as comedy and/or jobber filler
Rockstar Spud - will get a chance to show what he can do
Samoa Joe - will at least consider other options now that AJ and Jeff are gone
Sting - will almost definitely disappear for a while. Might come back in a non-wrestling role later in the year
Taryn Terrell - top Knockout
Ultimate Tiger - could get a nice push
Zema Ion - will get a chance to make a name for himself in the X-Division
