What Happened After Raw, UFC boss talks Vince, Interviews with Jim Johnston/AJ Styles, top international star at WWEPC, Raw changes, why WWE is keeping Sin Cara II, Cesaro endorsement, Roberts congratulated, Foley smashes TV, Garcia signs new deal, more Network hype, Sting talking to WWE, Warrior buries hatchet, new Sin Cara gets new Twitter and Questions on Punk going to ROH, Vince/HBK, ROH surpassing TNA and Tag Team Title booking

After Raw, the babyface team laid out Seth Rollins after Ambrose and Reigns bailed. No dark match. I'm sure everyone was spent after the Rumble.

Dana White talked about Vince McMahon and WWE. Vince is a go-getter, that's for sure.

Stone Cold Steve Austin talked to WWE musician Jim Johnston. I'm glad he's getting more recognition lately.

Japanese star KENTA reported to the WWE Performance Center for a tryout, at the suggestion of William Regal. He's very well regarded for his matches online. He's 32 with more than 1200 matches to his name, so I definitely think WWE should consider picking him up. If he is signed, I wonder what that means for Yoshi Tatsu's spot (or lack thereof at the moment).

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The script for Raw changed a number of times on Monday, combining qualifying matches into the six-man tag. Good move. There was also a plan for a C.M. Punk promo following Kane attacking him, but that was dropped. That will be explained more in the next news post. WWE also smartly put Bryan in the opening segment to set up the main event in hopes that the crowd wouldn't hijack the show again, since they knew he'd be in the main event. Hopefully, some of those fans will chill to a degree. They should either tune out of segments they don't like, leave the arena, whatever. It's disrespectful to the performers in the ring to bury them just because they aren't Bryan.

WWE's keeping the Sin Cara character due to its merchandising potential. It'll be appearing in the upcoming Scooby Doo movie, so they want to keep it relevant. If it means Hunico getting a push in the role, it's fine by me.

William Regal praised Antonio Cesaro on Twitter. Regal's a great asset for the future generation of WWE.

Stone Cold and Mick Foley praised Jake Roberts going in the Hall of Fame. Hopefully Paul Bearer goes in this year as well. They've got to, right?

AJ Styles gave another post-TNA interview. I definitely think some of the "name" talent TNA picked up did good things for the company long-term. Some did good things short-term as well. But there were definitely talents who collected paychecks based a lot on their past work in other promotions, too.

Mick Foley kept his promise of destroying a TV because of the Royal Rumble. AS GOD AS MY WITNESS, IT IS BROKEN IN HALF!!!

Lilian Garcia has signed a new deal with WWE. No real details are known other than that. I wonder what all she'll be a part of under the new contract.

Here's another piece on the WWE Network. Cord-cutting will definitely happen. It just won't happen overnight. There are still millions of cable TV viewers out there.

UFC Women's Champion Ronda Rousey tweeted support for Daniel Bryan and C.M. Punk. In other news, a million 10-year-olds tweeted support for jhon cena.

Sting is now officially in negotiations with WWE. The belief right now is that this likely wouldn't lead to a match at WrestleMania 30, but WWE would love to make boatloads of money from Sting DVDs, merch, etc. Sting would also be the perfect face to bring back lapsed WCW fans to the WWE Network. And of course it is Hall of Fame season. Either way, this is amazing. I can't believe it's a real possibility for those two sides to come together.

Ultimate Warrior responded to Jake Roberts going into the Hall of Fame. Very mature of them to put this behind them like adults.

WWE is seeking to trademark the name Smackdown for a TV show. There's a possibility of moving the show to Tuesday nights, and maybe even making it live. The main problem I have with that is burnout from 5 hours of WWE TV within two nights (6 within three), sometimes right after a 3-hour PPV. Plus, that would mean 4 days between Main Event and a PPV with no WWE show to hype things outside of the Network. I imagine more people would watch Smackdown, but is that worth the trade-off? I'd rather it be on Thursdays personally.

WWE has made a new Twitter account for the current Sin Cara. Amusingly, the previous Sin Cara still has the original account, which is verified and lists him as a WWE superstar. The Sin Cara chronicles continue...

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Pretty much what they said there. I don't see any reason for him to drop down to ROH and do a bunch of hard-hitting matches for much less pay.

2. That, and Vince had big competition from a little promotion called WCW. He gave more leeway then than he does now that he's at the top of the wrestling universe.

Nothing to add to 3.

4. It's certainly possible they could surpass TNA, but the TV situation is very different between the two companies (as was mentioned). It would definitely be interesting to see if their style of things would translate to a less niche audience. There's a very different audience who appreciates really technical wrestling with a lot of big bumps, etc. than the audience who likes the way WWE does things.

5. It all depends on the teams involved and the stories presented. There's no hard and fast rule of how long teams should hold titles across any situation. That said, it's not a bad idea to shake things up with title reign lengths IF there's a storyline reason to do it beyond "we just felt like having a short title reign because we've done a lot of long ones recently."

More wrestling tomorrow.
