WWE asks for feedback on who to use, TNA updates on Jarrett/Styles/Dreamer, some good TNA business news, TNA tag champs in magazine, more on Hogan/WM30 and Questions on the WWE HoF, Warrior at Mania and the 40-man Rumble

WWE put out a survey, detailed here, about how fans on their mailing list believe current and past top names should be used going forward. That was useful for telling them I don't want to see Hogan anymore.

Jeff Jarrett's TNA resignation takes effect on Jan. 6. It's still pretty wild knowing he won't be around going forward. With other names with expiring contracts in 2014, TNA could look very different by year's end.

Al Snow took over as head producer at this past weekend's live events. I think he could do well in that department.

Negotiations between AJ Styles and TNA falling apart was at least partially linked to Jarrett's exit. It could be a time before morale improves without the founder there. I really wonder what ripple effect this will have on other long-term TNA employees.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA did quite well with their recent live event loop in the Northeast, especially the shows promoted by/including Tommy Dreamer. That's great. I'm glad the buzz generated by adding Dreamer was helpful. He's always been good at getting a crowd behind him.

Of note, TNA hasn't offered Dreamer any kind of contract. I'm a little split on that, as it'd be hard to figure out if using him would give more than a short-term boost for the promotion. TNA definitely needs to get away from being seen as the promotion for wrestlers past 40 taking up the spotlight.

The Bro-Mans are in "Flex" magazine due to Mr. Olympia being in their corner at Bound For Glory. That's the kind of hype TNA was looking for.

WWE is in the process of coming up with ideas for using Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 30, possibly in a match involving John Cena and/or Roddy Piper. I get it from a business perspective, but I really don't want to see it. I'd be OK with him showing up in a relatively minor capacity, but it's going to be hard to watch if they make him a major part of things.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE doesn't always do what makes sense or is "right" to do from a lot of people's perspectives. It's often a case of what Vince/Management wants to do or thinks is right. That extends to the Hall of Fame. Of course Bundy belongs in there. That doesn't mean he'll get in anytime soon.

2. WWE isn't too keen on protecting some of its younger performers and really likes to use special guests at Mania, so it could happen. I don't know how high up on the totem pole Warrior is, since WWE has Brock and Batista already set for the event, but they might look into it.

3. I think WWE would have a hard time these days in some ways filling 40 slots with relevant wrestlers. I bet it is rather hard to book that many people in one match! So, 30 it is.

Nothing to add to 4 or 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
