Del Rio fires back, WWE live event notes, Ryback rumorkiller, long-awaited DVD in the works, Interview with JR, more WWE Network news, AAA coming to TV on the States and Questions on the WWE Network, AJ vs. Magnus, wrestlers not in the Rumble and Vince as a genius

Alberto Del Rio cut a promo on Batista at a recent live event, saying he (Del Rio) will win the Rumble. Also wrestling on that show were El Torito and Kane. Kane beat Zack Ryder, then made an open challenge that was answered by Big Show. Show won, then hit a chokeslam on Brad Maddox. I wonder if this is leading to Kane moving back into a wrestling role.

There was a rumor going around about Ryback being released from WWE. This was based on a misunderstanding of the wording of one of his tweets. He's still employed as of this writing, though he's not the most popular guy with WWE management at the moment.

WWE is making a Paul Heyman DVD. Jim Ross is set to be a part of it. Yes, please!

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Jim Ross talked about WWE's digital content and the upcoming Network. This is going to be a really big thing.

Here's a picture of Nikki Bella training where the Buffalo Bills train. Hopefully people who see this kind of thing appreciate what wrestlers go through.

Here's another article on how game-changing the WWE Network could be. Very exciting time to follow WWE's business.

Guy Code Blog pitched some shows for the WWE Network. I want Judge Scott Steiner myself. And Zeb Colter doing some kind of border patrol show. I'd watch the hell out of that Stone Cold show if they did it with his character and not some kind of reality show.

"Survivor" producer Mark Burnett will be bringing AAA to El Rey Network. It sounds like they're really going full force with it, too. 2014 will be quite the year for wrestling.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to really add to 1. I imagine it might be different times for different areas.

2. I think part of their goal was to just have a big clustermess brawl with a lot of surprises for AJ's last match. They definitely didn't make Magnus look like a top star with the booking.

3. Wow. I wouldn't have guessed Hall wasn't a part of the Rumble.

4. The people doing the consensus making are pretty fickle, huh? Geniuses don't hit home runs with every single decision. Top athletes don't hit every big shot. I think when all is said and done, we'll be ranking Vince pretty highly as a businessman. He definitely has had his blunders (big and small), though.

5. It all goes to Vince McMahon! Mwahahaha. No, I'm sure there will still be a cut to the people actually on the content.

More wrestling tomorrow.
