New big job for ex-WWE star, more on Flair missing NFL game, big TNA roster meeting, Lockdown update, WWE Network meeting, Batista buries WWE roster, Interview with Kofi, new faces coming to TNA?, new international WWE deal, Impact audience, Ziggler update and Questions on TNA departures, Styles in ROH, injuries, WWE bringing back former announcers and what's next for Vince

Ken Shamrock is now doing security for 50 Cent. That's great for him.

One reason Ric Flair isn't at the Panthers/49ers game is the fact of there being an arrest warrant out for him due to him owing more than $30,000 in legal fees and support to his most recent ex-wife. So, him appearing there would tip the cops to his location and put him at risk of being taken away.

Dixie Carter had a major meeting with TNA talent. Among the notable items:
- The departure of Jeff Jarrett was called a business decision. No word on if she saw Double J as a "B+ player".

- Negotiations continue with Universal Studios for future tapings there. Fortunately for TNA, they already have tapings set to take them to Lockdown in March. They've got some time, but they certainly need to get on it.

It's believed the Lockdown PPV could be held in the Miami area. You'd think they'd want to go further than the Florida market, but maybe that will end up being a good draw for them.

Everything else from Friday is after the break.
Batista has sparked some controversy with some (since deleted) remarks on Twitter.

He learned from the best as far as burials go. It definitely doesn't look good on him to throw the whole roster under a bus like that. Why should a fan who's "on the fence" about watching WWE make the jump if no one on the roster's a star?

Kofi Kingston was interviewed in Saudi Arabia. I think he's in serious danger of going down in history as just the "Boom Boom Boom" guy who can never be a main eventer. But hey, if R-Truth became a main eventer after his gimmick, I don't see how Kofi couldn't.

Dixie Carter tweeted about bringing in new talent to TNA. They're looking at a number of names from ROH (past and present), as well as the independent scene. TNA's definitely made some positive changes in the past few months. I hope they continue to filter out some of the older names who've reached their "sell by" date, while picking up some impressive new names. Things won't change in that area overnight, as it takes time to build new stars, but I definitely think by the end of 2014 we'll be looking at a new TNA in a lot of ways.

Update: Jay Bradley tweeted back. He's still there. I like him well enough. There are certainly worse "hosses" under contract these days.

WWE has signed a five-year deal to bring its programming to Thailand. Raw, Smackdown, Main Event, the whole works. That's great.

Impact's audience on Thursday was 1.39 million, the highest number they've hit since Destination X 2013 in July. That's fantastic news as they build the new faces of the company. Hopefully next week's Genesis is also a big number for them.

Dolph Ziggler is said to have "improved significantly" since taking a concussion. However, there is still no timetable for him to return to the ring. I'm sure he'd love to be cleared for the Royal Rumble, but he doesn't want to risk making things worse.

For my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Styles was still in negotiations to potentially return when Jarrett left. I think both departures are symptoms of a greater issue within TNA, where it's transformed into something different from the "house Jarrett and AJ (and others) built".

2. Accidents happen, even with trained professionals with more than a decade of experience. I got a kick out of "Ring of Dishonor". I usually go with "Ring of Jobbers" when I'm trolling.

3. I bet the person who asked the second question will use that accident to bury ROH some more. It can be very dangerous.

4. I'd think WWE would rather use people they already have under contract, but I imagine Striker at least would be open to return.

5. I'm sure Vince will find something. They haven't had a wrestling match on the moon yet, after all.

More wrestling coming up.
