Former X-Division Champion works GFW show, Cena update, and Questions on Steph selling stock, Ambrose/Reigns' partner, Eva Marie in NXT, Nikki losing the title, and TNA vs. GFW

Former TNA name Matt Bentley (Michael Shane) worked a match for GFW in his hometown of Clinton, Iowa. He was kind of like a prototype for the Young Bucks. I expect this was just a one-time thing, although it was a pretty neat cameo.

John Cena was back in action at another live event last night, defeating Kevin Owens in a street fight. It looks like he shook off being banged up the night before. He's one insanely tough guy.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:

1. Yeah, I wouldn't assume there's anything major going on behind-the-scenes that necessitated it. She obviously wanted the money more than the stock for the moment, so maybe she's purchasing something important to her.

2. As was alluded to, this would be a chance for someone to really come up in a big role. I don't think they'd just throw someone in there for the hell of it. I'd like to see Cesaro in the role if Ryback's defending against Kevin Owens, but if they're going with someone from NXT, how about a cameo from Samoa Joe? That would be INCREDIBLE. I don't know if they'd do it, though, since he's kind of "just an NXT guy" they're not looking to call up. Corbin would make sense, but I don't know how the fans would take it. He's still on the rough side.

3. I think she's gotten a little better, but there's still progress to be made. Hopefully she'll keep improving and eventually win her detractors over. She'll have to work at it, though.

4. Charlotte should definitely take the belt at Night of Champions.

5. There's no evidence of it being a massive work. There was legitimately heat there for a time, but it worked out better for both sides to bury the hatchet and work together again. TNA talents wanted to work more dates to supplement their income, and GFW was able to provide that.

More wrestling tomorrow.
