More from Hogan, WWE lawsuit updates, TNA name arrested, NXT-Music City update, NXT release, shooting near WWEPC, and Questions on Sting's title shot, WWE going joshi, NXT the night before Mania, double-booking HoFers, and the Diva branding

Hulk Hogan appeared on GMA to try to deflect the controversy he's in. The man said some hateful things when he was at a dark point in his life. If he comes out and tries to sow some racial harmony (and is sincere with it), I think he should be forgiven.

Update: following the appearance, WWE confirmed the two sides remain separated. It's going to be a good while before the two sides have a chance of being back together.

WWE succeeded in getting the lawsuit against them by the widow of Viscera/Mabel/Big Daddy V combined with the other wrongful death lawsuits currently against them in Connecticut.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA's Bram was arrested and charged with two felony counts of domestic battery and false imprisonment. TNA has immediately suspended him from any events while the case is ongoing. Given how serious those charges are, they made the right move. Bram was previously released from WWE developmental following serious criminal offenses.

Update: It should be noted Bram's estranged wife Charlotte was not involved in this incident. Thank goodness. The two sides are in the process of getting divorced.

NXT will hit Nashville on Oct. 2, pretty close to where TNA used to hold most of its shows pre-Impact Zone. NXT will probably have a bigger audience than they did, though.

WWE has released NXT's Zahra Schreiber after uncovering derogatory social media posts from before she was signed. WWE takes that very seriously, and that's why we likely won't see Havok there.

A man was shot outside the WWE Performance Center, having previously been arrested nearby. Very unfortunate news to hear.

Update: WWE released a statement. It's a real shame things got to this point.

Update: this individual had a fixation with a female WWE performer and had been dealt with by police previously. Needless to say, there's a good amount of disturbing material out there in regard to the man shot. The less said about that, the better.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. He's likely the first wrestler, although I imagine they probably had a guest host or someone do it at some point.

2. Jesus, one step at a time! I'd like to think we'll see greener pastures for the Divas in the future under Triple H and Stephanie, but I think we're some time away from there being a robust Divas roster with more than one title at stake. Hopefully as they try to reach more women in the future, they do consider a bigger role for the Divas.

3. I can't say I'd be all that surprised given how much NXT is growing. We'll see.

4. Honestly, Wrestlecon is designed to cash in on WWE's Mania festivities. If WWE needs the talent instead, they should probably get priority (since they and the companies they own made those names famous).

5. I guess because Sasha's part of the revolution, too? I liked Submission Sorority given how each of them seek to make people tap out. And I don't see "diva" going away until Total Divas does.

More wrestling tomorrow.
