Raw Reax - 9/14/15

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Raw.

WWE has had a solid stretch of new talents as mentioned there. Yes, there was also Adam Rose and Emma, but generally there were hits instead of misses. Emma's great in NXT; they just didn't have a use for her for whatever reason on the main roster.

WHOA. Two former WCW Champions facing off on Raw. I don't remember the last time that happened. Sting and Big Show wrestled each other way back in 1996.

- Kofi/Big E vs. PTP:
It's a shame one of these teams is missing a PPV because of the Dudleys.

These guys all work well together. I mean, really, they can't have both teams involved? The Dudleys should have to be around in WWE longer before they compete for the straps.

Good stuff all around.

Really good match. Both teams earned their keep today.

WHOA. That footage was a long time ago.

Cena vs. Sheamus could be fun.

Really good segment from Charlotte and Ric. They definitely should have Charlotte take the title at Night of Champions.

Who on earth thought it was a good idea to combine the Wyatt Family with Miz TV?

I'm pretty excited for the three-on-three tag, although there are some high hopes for their partner now.

- Sheamus vs. Cena:
Sheamus is a pretty underrated worker. I think people are coming around on Cena, thankfully.

Pretty good stuff between the two veteran performers.

The sooner Nikki's title reign ends, the better.

Owens burying The Secret was nice. I like this promo so far.

Ryback's a lackluster character. Ryback vs. Owens should be good, though.

I like the Sting history, although it shows he's been around a LONG time by wrestling fan standards.

So, six-man tag at Night of Champions?

- Nikki vs. Charlotte:
Charlotte's really good. It would be a crime for her to play second fiddle to WWE's pettiness about AJ.

Honestly, Nikki can wrestle quite well. We've just seen her so much.

Oh goddamnit not this ending again. Hopefully it's a precursor to the title changing hands for real on Sunday.

The post-match was good to set something in motion for Sunday.

- Rusev vs. Cesaro:
These two could have had a great match, but the outside of the ring stuff was more important.

Meh post-match. I don't care all that much about Rusev and Summer splitting so soon.

Looks like Big Show's kind of part of The Authority again for now.

- Show vs. Sting:
Well, that was quick! Historic, though.

I guess the tag match is to protect the two older performers.

- Show/Rollins vs. Sting/Cena:
That was fairly quick, too. Rollins and Cena tore it up, and Show and Sting were fine in their roles. Rollins definitely needs a strong showing Sunday after the loss here.

More wrestling coming up.
