ROH+WWE live event notes, Goldust update, Lana note, and Questions on another Muppets-WWE crossover, fans jumping the rail, Paige's heat, Regal's one man shows, and ROH-Hammerstein

Taeler Hendrix defeated Mandy Leon at an ROH live event this weekend as the company expands its efforts at a women's division. A new female performer debuted after the match. Having a women's division would definitely add some variety.

ROH's live event also featured Shaheem Ali in a loss to Brutal Bob. I'm guessing this was a potential tryout if the company liked his work.

Goldust and Cody Rhodes will be on hand at Takeover:Respect to congratulate the winners of the Dusty Classic. I think they could easily have Goldust as another veteran working with the NXT regulars; he'd be perfect for it.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Lana tweeted about "taking accent classes," so maybe she'll miraculously sound like an American when we see her on TV again. I'm really curious what's next for her after splitting from Rusev.

El Torito teamed with Curtis Axel to beat Los Matadores on a live event. The match was originally set as a handicap match. I don't think I'd mind LM being dropped as an act (possibly in another reboot situation). They're going nowhere, and I don't think anyone really cares about a feud between the two parties.

Update: On the second live event this weekend, El Torito assisted Axel and Sandow in beating LM. I would not be surprised at all if Torito ends up being more favored by WWE long-term than Diego and Fernando.

A member of security escorted performers to and from the ring at at least one WWE live event this weekend. It's sad it has to come to that, but WWE needs to ensure the safety of its performers.

On a different ROH live event this weekend, Veda Scott beat Sumie Sakai, Caprice Coleman beat Pepper Parks, and GN Hughes teamed with Brutal Bob in a loss to Ferrara and Cheeseburger. I wonder if we'll see some of those new names again?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It's not impossible, but I also don't think NBCU would be too happy about it.

2. Obviously the former Shield members have some members of the audience reacting passionately one way or another. There could indeed be a link there.

3. That sounds about right. She is only 23, so she's probably still looked at as young by her coworkers.

4. I also think they'd make a great Network special! I expect Regal would be pretty entertaining.

5. That's unfortunate, given the big ROH fan base in the area.

More wrestling tomorrow.
