Post-Raw note, ROH attendance note, sad Briscoes note, (another) TNA-DA update, new BFG match, BFG conference call, Interview with Paige, Raw audience, WWE vs. ProWrestlingTees, Raw cameo, and Questions on Rollins' character, protecting wrestlers, PPV bonuses, beating Bo, and telegraphic Kane's appearances

There was no dark match after Raw this week, which is a little surprising. They almost always do something special for the live audience.

ROH had about 500 fans in PA this weekend, and close to 1000 in NY. Good for them!

The Briscoes were unable to attend one of ROH's shows this weekend due to a death in the family. That's very unfortunate, as they really do what they do well.

TNA has been confirmed as airing past the initial 39 episode run DA signed up for (that would take them to the episode after BFG). It is expected they will remain on the channel through the end of January. At the least, they will continue on through the end of 2015. So, the company has been given a stay of execution for now. They still have a lot of work cut out for them.

As for ROH on DA, there has been no update on a relationship between the two sides past the end of the year. In fact, the deal might only go through the end of November.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Bobby Roode vs. Lashley for the TNA King of the Mountain Championship has been added to Bound For Glory. They always have good chemistry.

EC3 and Drew Galloway promoted BFG in a conference call:
- I'm definitely glad TNA signed Galloway. He's one of a number of talents whose career got a second life so to speak in TNA. If the company was healthy, imagine someone like Jack Swagger coming in and reinventing himself? There's not as much money there, though.

- EC3's character is generally pretty hilarious.

- Echoing the first point, it's awesome to have people behind a talented performer with character. That's what makes NXT refreshing.

- I think EC3 has the right goal for a heel.

- The show actually is generally pretty solid these days (and has been since the Hogan/Bully Ray stuff ended).

Paige talked to promote the season finale of Total Divas. I wonder how many more seasons they can get out of the show.

Raw dropped to 3.33 million viewers this week, replacing last week's show as the second-lowest audience they've gotten since expanding to three hours. It's easy to blame Kane, Big Show, Cena, etc., and it's easy to say "go back to two hours." It's clear WWE needs to make some changes, but I don't see them drastically altering things overnight.

ProWrestlingTees.com was forced by WWE to remove merchandise featuring Jim Neidhart due to an existing merchandising deal between WWE and Neidhart. It does feel petty to not let Jim sell his own shirts through their site since they're not selling any Neidhart shirts themselves, but his contract with WWE is exclusive. Whether Neidhart shirts are sold or not is up to WWE.

An actress represented WWE's head of human resources last night. That's understandable, since I imagine the actual director works 9-to-5 in Stamford and isn't an actress herself. There's not much need to use the real person since few would really know who she was.

EVOLVE's Anthony Nese (previously in TNA as Tony Nese) was the "sound technician" involved in the Wyatt/Reigns match on Monday. Obviously WWE and WWNLive at least have enough of a relationship for WWE to use some names here and there as cameos and guests.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. How is Rollins the bit player when he's the one consistently in high-profile matches? Guys like Sting and Lesnar are the bit players compared to Seth. I definitely think the title reign has brought him above where he was before he won it, although obviously he's not at the level of someone like Cena or Orton. Besides, "character building" doesn't mean "wins a lot." His character is that of the heel who survives by luck/the skin of his teeth and brags about it. It builds his character to keep holding on to the title despite being in the ring with top opponents.

2. Not a bad suggestion, but I agree with the reasons put forward in opposition to it. Ideally, they wouldn't need to stop people from doing what we've seen in recent months, but having security outside the barricades to protect talent is a good move since some fans keep pushing things.

3. DAMN. Although hopefully they're making more in revenue from the cheaper events? They could base it off how many views the event gets on the Network.

4. That's Bo's character! The overconfident jerk who won't go away no matter how much he's beaten. They need some guys to be the rodeo clowns the bulls easily throw around. Contrast that to someone like Ryder or Sandow who just loses a lot because they're not someone WWE wants to push.

5. They definitely have the "it's all just a TV show" mentality, for better or worse.

More wrestling tomorrow.
