Superstars Reax - 9/11/15, TNA and ROH audience, WWE tapings guest, TNA-DA update, Orton note, new NXT coach, Smackdown audience, press for Bret Hart/Cesaro, indie names officially signed to WWE, more on NXT pay situation, Compton update, and Questions on fan interference in the show, Amell's wrestling, Erick Rowan, Khali, and Orton's future

Superstars:
- Bo vs. Neville:
Bo plays his role well, making up for not being as amazing in the ring as someone like Neville.

Well, that was quick. So much for Bo getting a push. I honestly think he's fine as an undercard comedy guy for now. Speaking of those, we need more Heath Slater on WWE screens.

Not a bad promo for The Cosmic Wasteland. I think Stardust adds something to their act.

- Swagger vs. Stardust:
Good stuff so far. I like Cody being able to show more of his personality as Stardust.

I like that Stardust has some screws loose. It's more fun than "great wrestler with no personality" vs. "great wrestler with no personality."

Fine match overall.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA's audience Wednesday night was 353,000 for its first showing, and 96,000 for its replay. That's a decent jump from previous weeks (they didn't hit 400,000 total viewers in August at all). Is there a little life left in the show after all?

ROH's audience on DA this week was 138,000. Its status for 2016 is also up in the air. If it's hard to find advertisers for TNA, I can imagine it'd be harder for a wrestling company with an even smaller audience.

Lita was backstage at WWE TV tapings this week. It's possible she was used for "Total Divas" stuff since Amanda from TE is on the show now.

Impact Wrestling is currently listed as airing on Destination America on October 7. How long the show will continue on the channel remains a question, and no TV tapings are currently announced to follow BFG, but it appears at this time the show will survive past September. I think a fitting end to the promotion would be Rockstar Spud beating EC3 for the title at the last day of the January TV tapings in the UK and everyone walking off into the sunset. We'll see what actually happens.

There are rumblings of Randy Orton taking a short time off from WWE following the attack by the Wyatt Family. We'll see whether or not that materializes.

The former Sarita has officially signed on as a coach at the WWE Performance Center. That's great! They're really taking good steps to improve the future of the Divas division.

Smackdown this week hit 2.04 million. Lackluster performance during football season.

Bret Hart talked about his wrestling career. Same stuff as always.

Cesaro promoted WWE going to Saudi Arabia. It's a shame Sami Zayn won't be wrestling there.

WWE has officially signed SHIMMER's Athena and former PWG/EVOLVE/CZW name Biff Busick. The company has picked up a significant number of established indie names in the past few years, I think to their benefit.

A number of top NXT talents are now making more significant downside guarantees as the brand's prominence has grown. That's great! There are going to be growing pains as far as what to do for talents financially, but things seem pretty fair for talents. That's one big benefit of having someone who's been on the road full-time taking bumps in charge of the system.

Cliff Compton gave an update on his health and ROH status. I'm surprised we never saw him in WWE or TNA post-Domino.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I remember that was during an angle where "everything was falling apart" because there was no authority figure for a few weeks. I believe that was around the time JBL declared "martial law" and there was a battle of who was in charge, leading to yet another change of who was "running the show." So, yeah, I think it was scripted.

2. Amell was definitely one of the top celebrity in-ring performances I've seen. He looked mostly believable and really cared about being legitimate. So, yeah, I think he was off the mark. I see where he's coming from, though.

3. This is really something that deserves research if WWE's going to try to prevent it from occurring more. There are reasons some fans jump the rail and some don't.

4. Either with them or against them would make perfect sense.

5. That. I suspect WWE will give some of his students a look at some point, since they want to expand in India.

6. Orton vs. Wyatt could certainly be fun.

More wrestling tomorrow.
