Main Event Reax - 4/8/18, WWE UK event plans, new Redemption main event, Cena profiled, Ronda in first WWE game, ROH offers make-good for streaming issues, more on Alberto missing Impact bookings, possible WWE return this week, WM34 guests, '90s name passes away, WM34 breaks records, what happened after Mania, and Questions on Dana White announcing Brock-UFC, Brock's UFC future, Sting losing to HHH, and potential Mania heel turns

-- Main Event:
- Cedric/Mustafa vs. Nese/Ariya:
Ah the classic time-filler cruiser tag match.

Good teamwork from both sides.

Nice basic story here.

Both sides are delivering!

I'm liking this well enough.

Fine work to promote the faces before Mania.

- Revival vs. G. Bros:
I like the early work here.

I hope both teams get something fresh after the Superstar Shakeup (whenever that may be).

Anderson and Gallows make a pretty solid pair.

I definitely prefer the Brothers as faces.

Pretty good for the time it had.

At the WWE UK brand events this summer:
- June 18 will feature a tournament to crown a contender for the UK Championship
- June 19 will see that contender challenge for the title; the rest of the card will feature WWE UK talents against NXT talents.
-- Good to see the UK names getting used in a prominent role.

Redemption will now be headlined by Austin Aries vs. Pentagon Jr. vs. Rey Fenix for the Impact World Championship. That has potential to be really big. It's wroth noting none of those three men are under exclusive deals and two of them are "on loan" from LU, but Impact was left scrambling with Alberto's departure.

John Cena was profiled in Vanity Fair. He has an incredibly busy life.

Ronda Rousey has been added to WWE Supercard in her first video game appearance for the company. I could easily see her as the centerpiece of WWE 2K19.

ROH is offering gift cards for those who streamed Supercard of Honor due to issues with the feed. Servers were overwhelmed by the number of people watching the show.

ROH has announced:
- The Hung Bucks vs. The Kingdom on April 27 in Florida
- Punishment Martinez vs. Hangman Page on April 28 in Florida
- Jay Lethal vs. Josh Woods on April 28 in Florida

Alberto El Patron missing Impact bookings this weekend was unrelated to him looking to return to WWE, as there had not been any discussion on a deal between those two sides. Alberto returned to Texas after the Impact press conference. His Impact contract ran through April 21, the night before Redemption, and Impact had offered him a new contract with more pay in order to remain. What his Impact departure means for his future elsewhere remains to be seen, but he will almost certainly not appear for WWE this week as had been speculated.

Rey Mysterio was at WWE's hotel after his Wrestlecon appearances, so a return seems to be in the works.

At Wrestlemania 34: NJPW's Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi, UFC's Mickey Gall and Travis Browne, Mario Lopez, and Maria Menounos. I wouldn't be surprised to see Menounos in the celebrity Hall of Fame due to her appearances. She's absolutely a fan of the business. As for Okada and Hiroshi, they'd be great pickups at some point.

Terry Simms, also known as Terry Garvin, passed away at 55. That's sad news. There's no word on the cause of his passing.

Wrestlemania 34 broke revenue records for its venue, as well as surpassing WM30's attendance. New Orleans will almost certainly look to hold another Wrestlemania in the years to come.

After Wrestlemania went off the air, Roman Reigns was examined by medical staff in the ring. He's good to go, though.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Not at all! I think it made good business sense to capitalize on someone who's really in the news right now.

2. I'm not particularly a fan of White, but I don't think two wrongs would make a right in that case. That's much worse than piggybacking WWE's weekend, and I can't justify or mitigate it at all.

3. Brock doing UFC again would be fresh for Brock, for UFC, and for WWE. I think a change would be good for everyone.

4. I've never heard that, but WWE deliberately treated that match as if it was going to be Sting's only in-ring appearance. I see why they had Triple H win, since he's still working here and there for the company years later.

5. There was a decent chance of a Shane turn given the issues between him and Bryan. I'm curious what they do with everyone going forward.

6. As was said, Roman turning heel would have probably endeared him to his detractors rather than getting everyone booing him. It could have been pretty interesting, though. We'll see what's next for him now.

More wrestling tomorrow.
