Bruce Prichard was on Jim Ross' latest podcast. JR also discussed Bruno Sammartino and more.

 - Prichard also answered questions about his WWE Network podcast.

WWE's Saudi Arabian tryouts have begun. It's probably just a matter of how many names get signed; they'd really love to have stars from the area.

Winter, formerly Katie Lea Burchill, is advertised for Impact's June tapings in Ontario. It will be good to see her again.

Redemption will air in the UK on the Global Wrestling Network rather than on Spike.

The Great Khali, Shane McMahon, and Mark Henry have all been announced for the Greatest Royal Rumble match. WWE is pulling all kinds of strings to fill that match with 50 names.

- Bobby Lashley is advertised as being in the Intercontinental Championship match at the event. So, that's now presumably a five-way match instead of just Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe vs. The Miz. Either way, that match should be awesome.

Pentagon Jr. and Fenix will be able to use those names outside of AAA, and AAA has dropped legal issues against the pair.

Dick "Destroyer" Beyer will not make the Cauliflower Alley Club banquet this year due to recent heart surgery. I hope he's able to fully recover soon.

LuFisto recently had surgery due to her cervical cancer. Hopefully she's able to return soon.

Flip Gordon got in a fight with an extra at ROH's April 14 TV taping, as this extra was aparently in Christopher Daniels' seat. He was asked to move and refused, leading to a scuffle. Flip won easily. We'll see if that extra gets booked again after that.

- Rosa Mendes was also at the show. I hope she's not part of WOH going forward.

All In will stream live on Facebook. That will be big.

Daniel Bryan is currently not scheduled for any live events until the European tour from May 16 through May 19. That's interesting; I don't know if that means WWE is still a little cautious about him returning full-time or what.

WWE has received an order of protection against a fan who has had repeated incidents at the WWE Performance Center, including being shot in 2015. The fan had posted threats against the company right before Wrestlemania. I really, really hope that man gets the help he needs, as he's got serious mental health problems.

Dolph Ziggler has apparently not signed a new WWE contract as previously reported. Dolph's current deal ends this summer, and he had previous discussed wanting a longer break from the company than he got in his United States Championship angle. How about Dolph vs. Drew this summer to wrap his run up? I've been very vocal about Dolph, but I think he could really reinvent himself by working somewhere else and changing things up like Drew, AJ, EC3, Lashley, etc. before him.

Mick Foley promoted his ongoing tour. He will ALWAYS be remembered for that HIAC match.

ROH has produced a pilot for a national cable series, using Final Battle 2017. If their parent company purchases Tribune Entertainment as expected, WGN America could be home for that series. That would absolutely be a game-changer for everyone.

Rocky Romero will work two dates of the upcoming War of the Worlds tour. That's cool.

ROH announced the first batch of names for their UK tour with NJPW, which is now called Honor United. We could very well see Bully Ray back in action on those shows.

John "Big" Gaburick has returned WWE, working with production after being a key executive in Impact in recent years.

Taz discussed Bruno Sammartino on his most recent podcast.

Brooke Hogan once again discussed Hulk potentially returning to WWE. I'm ready for it to happen so I don't have to keep running stories/questions about it!

Roman Reigns was busted open during his match with Samoa Joe on Raw's April 19 event. After winning the match, he was unable to take pictures with fans due to health concerns. That's understandable.

NXT's April 19 live event in Washington, DC began with a ten-bell salute to Bruno Sammartino.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Basically Raw and/or Smackdown creative has a different vision from NXT Creative.

2. They definitely need to take things six months or so at a time. We've seen a lot of regime changes leading to big overhauls of the company in the past few years. What they need now is some stability under one direction with one talent roster. Some departures are going to be inevitable; they just need to try to weather the storm as much as possible rather than trying to have a new game-changing angle every three months.

3. That would be a really cruel work, honestly. I think viewers would turn on all players involved if they did that.

4. Jeff Hardy is obviously very valuable for WWE. He's getting leeway others don't get and aren't going to get. It's a shame, but that's how the world works sometimes.

5. Some people want to get right to it and others wait until closer to showtime. Obviously someone like Goldust, Jeff Hardy, or Demon Finn Balor is going to take more time for logistical reasons.

More wrestling tomorrow.
