Miz hosts MTV show, Raw name change, former World Champion to MLW, Jeff Hardy legal update, Cornette's graphic novel gets Kickstarter, Goldust offers advice, WWE doing big Saudi tryout, NXT name working PROGRESS tournament, NJPW team working WOTW, Bryan vs. Miz already booked, Raw audience, pre-Smackdown dark match, WWE seeking live event producer, another Woken trademark, WWE and 2K sued by tattoo artist, and Questions on wrestlers doing and not doing conventions, Joey Styles leaving wrestling, Nicholas winning the tag title, how WWE did Taker vs. Cena, and Bully Ray in WWE Creative

The Miz hosted the finale of MTV's The Challenge: Vendetta on Tuesday night.

Apollo Crews is now going by both first and last name again. That's good, since his merchandise has AC on it.

The former Jack Swagger will appear at MLW's May 3 TV taping, managed by Colonel Robert Parker. The two sides have a "multi-fight deal," which I'm guessing means a short-term contract. I wish Impact or ROH would pick him up.

Jeff Hardy will have a hearing on May 14 for his DUI arrest. I absolutely see why some are upset he was "rewarded" following that arrest with the United States Championship. He certainly has some leeway others don't get for that sort of thing.

Jim Cornette launched a Kickstarter campaign for his upcoming graphic novel. There's clearly some serious interest in the project.

Goldust offered help to today's generation of wrestlers, leading some to think he was looking to retire. He then confirmed that was not the case.

WWE is doing a large Saudi Arabian tryout. They're committed to developing stars from all over the globe.

Kassius Ohno will work PROGRESS' Super Strong Style tournament in early May. I'm surprised Kassius is still hanging around in NXT, but it's cool to see him getting that opportunity.

Roppongi 3K have been announced for the entire War of the Worlds Tour. They have a good deal of history in ROH.

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz has been booked for WWE's UK tour. I hope Miz doesn't have to stop using the moves he stole from his former protege; they've really added to his repertoire.

Raw drew 3.62 million viewers Monday night. They kept a decent amount of the post-Mania audience.

Tye Dillinger defeated Primo before Smackdown come on the air. Blehhhh.

WWE is seeking a live event producer. That's interesting, as I figured they'd use someone already in the business if possible.

WWE is trademarking "Woken Warrior" in reference to Matt Hardy. That's a good name for his fans.

WWE and 2K are being sued for using Randy Orton's tattoos in their games, with the tattoo artist asserting ownership of her designs. That's a pretty interesting point, actually.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. While not many people are always happy at their job, and I'm sure it can be a drag talking to that many people in a row while recovering from being bodyslammed and an hours-long flight, it could cost the workers "repeat business" if they're not kind to people who are paying to see them. They should be careful.

2. I think so. He was pretty much run out of the business for making a non-PG political reference right after the 2016 election at a show when he was explicitly told not to make any such references. He apologized profusely in person and released a public statement, but that was seemingly the final straw after he had recently been dropped by WWE for giving his blunt opinions during an interview on the WWE Facebook page. I hope he's doing well with whatever he's doing now.

3. Heyman has a lot more going for him than doing the convention circuit. Some people get enough of their "day job" at actual shows and don't feel like doing additional appearances. I imagine some also don't look forward to dealing with potentially rude/entitled fans.

4. It was a fun babyface moment on a kids' show. WWE clearly has other plans for the tag title and for Braun, so it was their way of getting out of having either The Bar or Braun holding the title ahead of the Superstar Shakeup.

5.a. Taker was willing to stay retired, but Cena kept calling him out, so he had to put John in his place. Outside of that, I think if they weren't going to have a "real" match, John should have been in the underwhelming AJ/Shinsuke feud. It would have elevated both men and the WWE Title itself.

5.b. Bully's not on WWE Creative because every pitch would be about how he could be in the spotlight and get the biggest payday. Bully would rather be an important figure in ROH than have a regular gig as a U.S./IC level guy in WWE.

More wrestling tomorrow.
