PWG venue update, more on WWE's commentary change, why Alexa isn't in South Africa, Rock doing special Rampage screening for high school, Interviews with Jinder/Y2J, Shield DVD note, Saudi tryouts continue, GRR on traditional PPV, new Network series this week, WOS tapings set, WWE seeking hires, Smackdown live event notes, and Questions on Power Plant successes, Rusev's GRR status, WWE traveling in Saudi Arabia, and beginning covering wrestling

PWG's home venue in Reseda, California has yet to have been approved, so there's a chance the promotion could still run there past May.

Booker T. is replacing Jonathan Coachman on Raw this week due to Coach taking an assignment for The Golf Channel. Coach will be back next week.

Alexa Bliss is reportedly missing Raw's South African tour due to an undisclosed minor cosmetic surgery. I hope she's back in action soon.

The Rock is bringing a number of fans to a special showing of Rampage after being invited to a high school prom. I imagine he'll get a lot of prom invitations after this!

Jinder Mahal talked to Natalya about his Wrestlemania moment. Cena vs. Jinder also would have been better than how Cena vs. Taker turned out.

The Shield's July DVD will have one disc devoted to each member, including previously unreleased matches. That's clever.

Triple H and Mojo Rawley met potential WWE hires at the company's Saudi Arabian tryouts. It's interesting Mojo's there instead of working Smackdown live events.

The Greatest Royal Rumble will also be carried on traditional PPV through Verizon and Comcast if you're crazy enough to spend $54.99 instead of watching it on THE AWARD-WINNING WWE NETWORK AVAILABLE FOR $9.99 A MONTH.

WWE Network this coming week will feature a new series, "WWE Marquee Matches." Each episode will focus on an historic match. This week has three episodes devoted to three different Royal Rumbles.

- Notably, there is no Flashback Friday theme for the second straight week.

World of Sport has announced five tapings from May 10 through May 12. The revived project will air on ITV, and free tickets are already available to be requested. This has the potential to be a really big project in the UK, and WWE will absolutely be keeping an eye on the proceedings as they plan to expand their own UK series.

WWE is seeking a director to work out of the WWE Performance Center's Content Innovation Lab as well as a director of global strategy at WWE headquarters.

Chris Jericho discussed a number of topics. Using a fireball in 2018 WWE would be insane, and I wouldn't assume it would make people cheer Roman. They're pretty content to boo him.

Smackdown's April 21 live event began with a ten-bell salute to Bruno Sammartino. Jeff Hardy and Big Cass worked the show, as neither were set for Raw's South African tour. Jeff Hardy teamed with Randy Orton to beat Rusev Day, while Big Cass defeated Tye Dillinger.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The only people to be in that same league would be DDP and The Giant/Big Show. I think you could argue Big Show has been more successful as far as being employed a lot longer and winning more championships, although certainly Goldberg was a really big name in his own right.

2. He's back on to be in the casket match, and still in the Rumble match itself. He was just having fun.

3. The Saudi government is bringing them in, so I think they're going to be pretty well protected.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. I had a fan "journal" when I was 11 covering what was happening on WWF TV. I was in fan groups online at 14 and started doing this blog at 21.

More wrestling tomorrow.
