NXT Reax - 4/25/18

Read on for my thoughts on last night's NXT.

-- NXT:

- UE promo:  

These guys basically run NXT now. The NA title is a good way to use Cole while others compete for the main championship.

These guys have definitely worked hard to get where they are.

It's crazy to think Dunne is face now. That's good booking. 

Really good work.

- Cole vs. Lorcan: 

Oney has the right idea here.

Cole is at another level. I hope he lives up to his potential post-NXT.

This is quite good. Oney is someone they can do more with.

That was fun. UE don't cheat because they have to; they cheat because they're assholes.

- Post-match: 

Yeah Oney and Danny need to make some more friends if they're going to stand against UE.

- Machinery vs. Riddick/Tino:

Riddick and Tino are headed for Blake and Murphy status if they keep this up.

I do enjoy HM, but they might be obsolete with the Raiders here.

The heels aren't a bad duo. They're just missing some flavor.

So take your pick on who will be the Jannetty of Tino and Riddick.

Fine to get some TV time for each side.

- Post-match: 

That was good enough. Obviously the focus is already off Tino and Riddick.

- Shayna video: 

I like the establishment of Baszler as the baddest woman on the brand. I'm hyped for an eventual match with Nikki Cross.

- Dakota/Shayna:

Baszler rightly looks like someone you do NOT want to mess with. I love Dakota, but she's in trouble here.

- Kona video: 

If he can be as entertaining in the ring as he is in these goofy vignettes, he's got a chance as a lower-level comedy guy. WWE needs all types of wrestlers.

- Women's video: 

I'm ready to see some new faces utilized.

- Gargano/Ciampa/LeRae:

I love Johnny and Tommaso. They tore down the house in New Orleans. But there's really a time to move on to something fresh. 

This is great, but where can they really go after New Orleans?

Johnny has the worst luck.

- Black/SAnitY:

Aleister vs. Tommaso would be great.

Where is Nikki Cross??? Otherwise, this is cool.

I hope SAnitY can succeed on Smackdown.

- Black vs. EY:

Nice start.

Aleister can absolutely be someone in the business. 

Black might trash the whole stable if they keep getting involved.

EY is a very solid technician.

This is nice!

Black brings a lot to the table.

That was pretty badass.

- Post-match:

Aleister isn't done bringing the pain!

Nice angle. Hopefully SAnitY kills some jobbers on Smackdown for a while to show what they're all about.
