NJPW names set for ROH UK tour, new ROH merch, Rollins looks back, Saudi Arabian trainees getting more coaching, Redemption and Impact TV notes, Slammiversary 2018 set, and Questions on Absolution's future, Truth in Impact vs. WWE, how the Shakeup works, and how much superstar swapping is too much?

NJPW's Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, EVIL, and SANADA have been announced for Honor United in the UK. I'm sure more names will be announced as the tour gets closer.

The Kingdom have a new shirt from ROH. They're rising there, particularly Matt Taven.

Seth Rollins reminisced on watching WWE events when he was younger. I like WWE covering wrestlers' journeys to the company.

Eight Saudi Arabian trainees will get additional WWE coaching. At least one will be in the Greatest Royal Rumble itself. All eight have impressive backgrounds. We'll see if any become full-fledged members of the WWE Performance Center.

Alberto El Patron was originally set to win the Impact World Championship at Redemption. So, they're really reshuffling the deck going forward. It will be interesting to see how long Pentagon will hold the title, and what the future holds for Aries.

Austin Aries is apparently only booked for two of this week's Impact tapings. That makes sense given the surprise title change; Aries clearly has priorities independent of Impact. They'll have to book with that in mind.

Konnan was backstage helping out at Redemption. I wonder what they'll do with his "kidnapping" angle, and if he's moving into a behind-the-scenes role primarily.

Sonjay Dutt has returned to working in production and creative. We'll see if he's back on commentary at the upcoming TV tapings.

Grado was backstage at Redemption, so he should be back on Impact TV soon. I'm not sure what they'll do with him.

Slammiversary XVI will take place on July 22 in Ontario. We could be in for a wild ride before then if the road to Redemption was any indication.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I definitely think Mandy and Sonya should try to get special treatment from Paige, establishing them as a heel duo. I'd keep them together for now, but I do think there will be a time to split them. As for them potentially getting a new leader, I don't dislike the idea of Tamina returning in that role. Or a debuting Nikki Cross?

2. You KNOW that was a Vince Russo move. Basically, if it was word for word, that would be illegal, but it would be ridiculously expensive for both sides to go to court over it, and what would really be gained? Both sides have better uses of their time and money.

3. Firstly, it's worth noting Truth was pushed as a top name in Impact because they didn't have a ton of other options at the time. That said, I thought Truth as a top heel in 2011 was AMAZING and it's a shame things fell apart.

4. It certainly seems like the two sides work out trades and signings from NXT, given Angle talking about specifically getting Miz on Smackdown to work with Bryan. The way I see it, both sides plan things out some time in advance and it's all executed when the Shakeup is made public.

5. I'm fine with the number of swaps, since it freshens up things all over the card. Of course, if they move people just to have a certain quota of moves, that's a waste.

More wrestling tomorrow.
