More on OVW purchase, Flashback Friday plans, Prichard promotion, WWE-Cricket update, WWE UK brand events set, interesting name at WWE hotel, WWE names cleared to return, Mania guests, Total Divas update, Taker note, another Table for 3 taped, former Divas champions reunite, Alberto released, Wrestlecon altercation, and Questions on overseas travel, Braun's Mania spot, using Shayna with Ronda, Bull-Fit 2.0, and why WWE doesn't emulate UFC

Al Snow's purchase of OVW means founder Danny Davis is retiring. It could be that's what prompted the sale. I wish Snow and the promotion luck.

WWE Network's next Flashback Friday theme will feature past Wrestlemanias.

Bruce Prichard promoted his upcoming WWE Network podcast. I'm curious how that will go.

WWE has renewed their partnership with Cricket Wireless. There's some real synergy there.

WWE's UK brand will run shows on June 18 and June 19 in London. WWE is committed to spending money on Network projects again; hopefully that leads to more subscribers.

James Storm is at the WWE hotel in New Orleans, so we should be seeing him in some fashion soon. I'm interested to see how he can contribute.

Jeff Hardy and Brian Kendrick have been cleared to return to the ring. They can both jump right in to things after Wrestlemania.

"Bullet" Bob Armstrong appeared with Road Dogg and Scott Armstrong at AXXESS. Good to see the family together there. I'd like to see Bob in the WWE Hall of Fame at some point.

David Arquette is visiting at Wrestlemania weekend. I'm a bit surprised he's not a celebrity Hall of Famer.

Paige is back on "Total Divas" as a cast member, as footage including her was taped Saturday night.

The Undertaker is in town for Wrestlemania, so he will be involved with John Cena on the show. There's an opportunity to announce those two having Taker's final match at WM35 in a similar vein as Rock/Cena, but it's also possible they just have a street fight of some sort this year and that's the end of it. I definitely didn't expect such a big feud to be booked this way.

Jeff Jarrett, Road Dogg, and Elias did a Table for 3 episode. That should be fun.

The former Kaitlyn and AJ Lee reunited on a podcast. I miss them both!

Alberto El Patron has been released from Impact after missing scheduled Wrestlecon appearances. There had been concern of his health due to his disappearance. I'm not sure what's going on there, but abandoning Impact during the biggest weekend of the year is a really sad turn of events.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Davey Boy Smith, Jr. had an altercation at Wrestlecon where Davey threw a cup of coffee at Jake before leaving the premises before police could speak to him. No word on what led to their issues. That's very unprofessional for the son of a legend.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I doubt they're doing one flight for that many people. It's a big endeavor, and they're going to take all necessary precautions.

2. Braun could definitely have been part of something bigger at Mania, but this could be pretty fun in its own right. They've still booked him pretty strongly.

3. Not anytime soon. They're considered separate projects. Shayna's making her way up through NXT while Ronda is one of their centerpiece stars. I imagine they'll work together at some point, but it's not an imminent plan.

4. He was released some time back. Unless there's a big change where he becomes invaluable to other companies like Ohno, McIntyre, EC3, etc., it's not likely WWE will be in a hurry to bring him back.

5. WWE is deliberately doing something more akin to theater, an action movie, or, say, an anime. Finishing moves are to pop the crowd, and teasing that they're coming cues the crowd that something big is coming up. They do make things look like a shoot every now and then, but it's rare for the reason that it's not what their usual product is about.

More wrestling tomorrow.
