WWE moved Andrade and Zelina Vega back to Smackdown Live to keep the Andrade/Charlotte Flair couple on the same show, which then meant moving Aleister Black to be with Zelina. WWE didn't want heat for breaking couples up to different touring groups. I'm surprised the company is that concerned about the matter, but it goes to show they realize talents have more options now and WWE wants to keep them happy.

The B-Team of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel have officially been moved to Smackdown Live as WWE continues to move their rosters around. We'll see if the company's satisfied now or if more moves are coming.

Kevin Owens turned heel due to Daniel Bryan's injury. Bryan was originally going to face Kofi at Money in the Bank, so Kingston needed a new opponent.

Nikki Cross is slated to be part of Raw going forward. Killian Dain could follow her there, so maybe SAnitY will reunite without Wolfe.

The Viking Raiders were listed as "Viking Warriors" on a questionnaire sent to fans, so that name was also considered and could end up being utilized. The name change from Viking Experience was due to negative fan reaction.

C.M. Punk's wrestling run-in was partially to appear at a building he had worked in many times earlier in his career before the building's scheduled shut down.

AAA's TV episode of the Young Bucks defeating The Lucha Bros for the AAA Tag Team Championship drew 5.4 million viewers. That's incredibly impressive.

Impact's Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Dez, and Wentz are involved in TV Azteca's multi-promotional tournament project.

Killer Kross and Tessa Blanchard are heading to AAA's May 18 TV taping. This is Tessa's debut for the promotion.

Kota Ibushi has signed an extended NJPW contract. He intends to stay there for the rest of his career. He can be a key figure for wrestling going forward.

NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors tournament will air entirely on New Japan World with English commentary.

ROH has announced a New York show on July 20 and a Massachusetts show on July 21. Both will air on HonorClub.

War of the Worlds Grand Rapids has added:
- Jay Lethal, Jeff Cobb, Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima, and Hirooki Goto vs. The Briscoes, Bully Ray, Shane Taylor, and Silas Young

- RUSH vs. PJ Black vs. Tracy Williams vs. Eli Isom for an ROH World Championship opportunity
- Cheeseburger vs. Clark Connors
- EVIL and SANADA vs. The Bouncers
- Kelly Klein vs. Stacy Shadows for the WOH Championship
- Coast 2 Coast vs. Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks

Dustin Rhodes asked for and received his WWE release in January, with his no-compete clause expiring April 19 and freeing him up for AEW. Vince McMahon was against releasing him to go work for the competition, but Triple H convinced Vince to OK it.

Fight for the Fallen is set up for just under 5,200 fans.

Jim Ross is expected to do regular announcing for AEW alongside Excalibur and Alex Marvez. I'm curious how that will work out. It's definitely an interesting mix of backgrounds.

AEW has Jenn Decker trying out as a host and/or interviewer.

SoCal Uncensored could work in OWE next week as part of the deal with AEW. That would be a good way to continue the feud with CIMA.

Harper is expected to remain in WWE until his contract expires. WWE has added six months to his deal due to the time he missed from injury, so he won't be free until close to WrestleMania 36. This is seen as WWE getting back at him for going public about wanting to leave. Time will tell whether he has to sit on the bench for a year. That's a real shame, and I hope it leads to an outcry.

Sasha Banks' stalemate with WWE isn't really going anywhere as far as WWE being willing to change how they use her, which could lead to her ending up on the bench for a while, too. Frankly WWE should listen to her or cut her loose. This should also be a point of contention with WWE from fans and talent.

Lio Rush has heat for openly discussing feeling like he should be a bigger part of Raw. He's good and a lot of fun, but he's also new and in there with people who have worked a lot harder a lot longer.

WWE recently spoke with Joey Ryan about joining NXT and becoming a coach down the line. That would involve a move and a pay cut, so he's not expected to take it. He hasn't officially signed with AEW, but is definitely involved with their projects.

Jeff Hardy will have surgery this week for his injury, which is believed to be on his right knee. He's expected to be used on Smackdown Live in some fashion to set up his departure, so that could mean new tag team champions there.

NXT UK's recent tapings were put together by staff from NXT and PROGRESS. I'm interested in how that played out.

Tyler Breeze is advertised for NXT shows this weekend. It's worth seeing what he can contribute there while Fandango recovers. Heck, they could both work NXT for a while with The Raiders leaving.

WWE's European tour will not reflect the Superstar Shakeup, instead using the rosters from before WrestleMania.

WWE is seeking an executive assistant for the vice presidents of talent, live events, and creative, as well as a creative services talent coordinator to serve as liaison between NXT talent and "main roster" creative. That second one sounds valuable if the main roster people will take note of what's suggested by the person in that position.

The former Enzo Amore and Big Cass have trademarked the names "nZo" and "caZ XL" individually, and the name "Free Agent Z" collectively for future wrestling appearances. We'll see if

The former Cryme Tyme have trademarked that team name. WWE dropped the trademark years back.

Rhea Ripley apologized for using a homophobic slur in a Twitch broadcast when asked to insult someone. Another example of needing to be careful in the digital world.

Chris Jericho and Xavier Woods met up on a flight. Very funny timing following the Kevin Owens turn.

Matt Riddle is missing NXT live events this weekend due to a mild arm infection. Hopefully he's able to rebound quickly.

Nia Jax's double ACL surgery was a success. There's no timetable for her return at this time.

Dean Ambrose has officially been removed from WWE's roster, so his contract has expired.

Hurricane Helms is working his final independent date before being a WWE producer full-time. WWE allowed him to finish what he had already been booked for.

WWE won Cynopsis Sports Media Awards for their work with Make-A-Wish and Connor's Cure.

Xavier Woods is helping Make-A-Wish in Connecticut by hosting a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament.

More wrestling tomorrow.
