WWE producer leaves after 18 years, NXT injuries, NXT live event note, NJPW/CMLL star working ROH shows, big WWEPC tryout, WWE reality show considered for Emmy, Stephanie in WWE college class, Kane-WWE update, NXT departure, Bryan title replicas, Raw+SDL take the weekend off, and more on Gail's in-ring future

Dean Malenko has left WWE following 18 years as a producer. With the company hiring so many new producers, some of the veterans were concerned they were being replaced.

- Malenko has been announced for Starrcast II. It's kind of a running gag at this point that everyone leaving somewhere else is going to AEW. Dean could definitely add to the backstage retinue there.

NXT referee Tom Castro broke his ankle during the main event of their April 25 Nebraska event. WOW. That's rough.

At NXT's April 25 live event in Nebraska:
- Punishment Martinez worked under that name, defeating Kona Reeves. There was speculation Punishment had changed his ring name.
- Tyler Breeze lost to Velveteen Dream in a North American Championship match

NJPW/CMLL star Dragon Lee will work ROH's June 28 Best in the World PPV in Maryland, as well as the June 29 TV taping in Pennsylvania.

"Miz and Mrs" is being considered for the Emmys.

Stephanie McMahon appeared for a WWE university class. That's pretty cool!

Kane teased a WWE return when he spoke about his current role as mayor. It's always a matter of there being a pitch that works for everyone involved. I'm glad Kane's putting his current job and responsibilities first.

NXT star Stacey Ervin, Jr. has confirmed his departure following concussion issues.

Daniel Bryan's WWE Championship now has (very) limited replicas available. Given how the original was made, it makes sense they're not being mass-produced.

Raw and Smackdown Live have this weekend off due to the Saudi Arabian show originally being set for yesterday.

Gail Kim intends Rebellion to be a one-time comeback. Impact's done a fun job building her match with Tessa.

NXT's Raul Mendoza was hurt at a recent live event, but it's unknown how bad the injury is or its nature.

More wrestling tomorrow.
