Vampiro has revealed he's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I wish him the best in his fight.

NJPW has announced an Australian event on June 29. The show will be called NJPW Southern Showdown. Another as-yet-unannounced show nearby will follow. I'm curious how they'll do there.

Summerslam weekend will have a women's wrestling event co-promoted by Smash Wrestling, SHIMMER, RISE, and Canada's Femmes Fatales. That's pretty ambitious!

ROH has announced Best in the World for June 28 in Maryland, followed by a TV taping June 29 in Pennsylvania. Interesting they're not doing the same market back-to-back.

Kelly Klein threw out the first pitch at Thursday's Cincinnati MLB game.

ROH will evaluate 20 additional women at their next recruitment event. The WOH division is really stumbling if Mayu Iwatani and Tennille Dashwood are both out of the picture.

Bandido has worked his final non-ROH date, as he will now compete there exclusively. He's been very impressive so far there.

Rush and Dragon Lee spoke about wanting Los Ingobernables as a stable in ROH and more. Rush can definitely be a major player in ROH.

Bandido spoke about wanting to work NJPW and more. He could really have a big future.

Jim Ross and Conrad Thompson are working on a podcast in the same vein as "Something To Wrestle With."

Smackdown Live in Canada will air on a different channel this week due to the NHL playoffs.

The Undertaker is set for Niagara Falls Comic Con on June 9, two days after WWE's next Saudi Arabian show. Sgt. Slaughter, Road Warrior Animal, Paul Orndorff, and the Killer Bees are also on the event.

Rob Van Dam discussed wrestling under the influence and more. I missed the recent interview where he wasn't even aware Impact still existed until he was contacted about working United We Stand. Vintage RVD.

Tommaso Ciampa is on Edge and Christian's latest podcast.

Paige tweeted about the term "WWE Diva." Essentially it became associated with people who got in the business because of their looks and weren't good wrestlers when they were showcased ahead of more accomplished and trainer performers, in contrast to female wrestlers who had independent backgrounds they built on when they made it to WWE.

Dash Wilder praised Edge for Edge's help getting him into WWE. That's a great story!

MLW now has an official headquarters in New York, which will comprise their offices as well as space to film content and podcast. Another feat for the growing company.

MLW is looking to do a PPV later this year. I'm curious how that would do.

MLW is discussing running a tour of the UK and Europe now that they have TV in Britain and Ireland. That's definitely a big move.

AAA, Impact, and MLW are doing a joint show on May 2 in Mexico. That's pretty cool. I'm glad they can all work together.

AEW has signed recent EVOLVE star Darby Allin. He will face Cody at Fyter Fest. I'm curious where his career goes from here. This could be a big upgrade, but it's a big risk, too.

WWE's Superstar Shakeup is being advertised as an opportunity for Raw and Smackdown Live to make any roster moves they feel fit, which would seem to indicate NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live talents are eligible to be signed. WWE has a real chance to make key, deep changes to things with this move. We'll see what they do.

UFC's Dana White has indicated Brock Lesnar's return to the company "isn't even in the works" and "may not even happen." There's no telling what Brock's next move is, but I wouldn't assume he's out of WWE just because he's lost the Universal Championship.

Nia Jax is undergoing double ACL surgery. That could really keep her out for a while. She's been a key part of the women's division, so we'll see how things change with her gone.

Roman Reigns' WWE Chronicle will air its second part after tomorrow night's Worlds Collide special.

The Undertaker is writing the foreword for "Smackdown 20 Years and Counting." Wow. That's pretty cool.

"WWE 24" will feature Kofi Kingston, Batista, and Becky Lynch soon, while "WWE 365" will feature Alexa Bliss.

Double or Nothing's Over The Budget Battle Royal has added Glacier and Brian Pillman, Jr. That's a pretty interesting mix! Glacier still wrestles occasionally.

Nikki Cross teased being in Money in the Bank. She's someone they definitely need to use more after the Shakeup.

Bret Hart's Hall of Fame attacker's court appearance has been continued until May 28.

Toni Storm will compete at Stardom's May 3 through May 6 tour, as well as their May 16 event. She had not competed there since June 2018. Stardom has a working agreement with ROH.

Adam Cole and Kassius Ohno will work EVOLVE 127 in Michigan on May 10 and EVOLVE 128 in Indiana on May 11. That would indicate there aren't plans for either man to leave NXT at this time, but that could always change!

AJ Styles' injury is a sprained SI joint, which has led to pinched nerve endings. Ouch. There's no word on how much time he'll miss.

At NXT's Florida event on April 12, Court Moore was in Jermaine Haley's corner as Haley defeated Eric Bugenhagen. Moore is the former Stokely Hathaway, while Haley is the former Jonah Rock.

More wrestling tomorrow.
