Post-WM35 press, Batista retires, NXT UK injury update, WM35 issues, Flair added to Y2J cruise, more AXXESS matches, Bret update, top WWE names injured at WM35, another Conor-WWE tease, NXT trip set, and Questions on booing Roman after his battles, how many main events there are, clearing Angle to wrestle, and how indie stars get paid and transported

Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston appeared on ESPN with their championships. It does feel like a new day in some ways with Brock no longer Universal Champion and Angle retired.

Batista retired following his WrestleMania 35 loss, as revealed on Twitter and Instagram. So that answers the question of whether he intends to wrestle again. I'm glad he got to have a final prominent storyline.

Edge tributed Kurt Angle following WrestleMania 35. They definitely go back a long way.

The Rock's mother and daughter were at WrestleMania.

Noam Dar is expected to be in cleared in time for next weekend's NXT UK events.

WrestleMania featured some notable lighting issues. Yeah they screwed that one up big time. Honestly fans should get something of a refund if it was an all-night thing.

Post-WrestleMania transit was criticized. That definitely needs to be addressed for future major events.

- Followup stories here and here. It certainly would have been good if everyone had an understanding of roughly when the show would end and when fans would disperse. This absolutely needs to be handled for future shows. WWE fans could be leery of returning if they think history will repeat itself on that front.

Ric Flair has been added to Chris Jericho's 2020 cruise. That should be a lot of fun.

When Worlds Collide matches were taped Monday at AXXESS. Raw, Smackdown Live, NXT, and NXT UK women all competed.

Johnny Gargano spoke after winning the NXT Championship.

Bret Hart was treated at a local hospital for stiffness in his hip, as was the security guard attacked at the Hall of Fame. Thankfully both they and Natalya are OK.

- The attack has been removed from WWE Network's feed.

Ronda Rousey injured her hand at WrestleMania. There's concern it may be broken. We'll see how that affects her next plans.

AJ Styles was injured at WrestleMania. He was pulled from his AXXESS VIP as a result. Fans who bought tickets for his session were given refunds and/or the chance to meet Kofi Kingston instead. There are no further details on AJ's injury at this time.

Batista was on Lilian Garcia's latest podcast.

Conor McGregor and Stephanie McMahon again teased McGregor joining WWE. Obviously that would be a major attraction. With Brock and Ronda out of the way (for now), he could really boost WWE with the casual audience.

NXT has announced live events for:
- May 16 and May 17 in Pennsylvania
- May 18 in Maryland
- May 19 in New Jersey

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There is a difference between booing the man and booing the performer/character/work. If fans aren't happy with his push, they'll boo him again.

2. Hahahahaha yes Vince definitely says there are multiple main events at times so hypothetically talent and fans see it that way. If it benefits WWE to say there's one main event, they'll say that. If it benefits them to say there are several, they'll go that route. It's similar to their stance on being sports or entertainment.

3. You'd have to ask WWE doctors that one. There are definitely different rules for part-timers.

4. It varies depending on the promotion and the star. Bigger, more prominent promotions are more "advanced" in that department, and stars with leverage get more perks.

5. I'm sure it's stressful either way!

More wrestling tomorrow.
