Royal Rumble preview

Read on for my ideas on booking tonight's WWE Network special event.
- Andrade vs. Humberto:
Andrade just won a big ladder match with Rey. No reason for him to lose here.

- Sheamus vs. Shorty:
I like Gable, but he shouldn't be knocking off Sheamus in Sheamus' return.

- Bayley vs. Lacey:
No reason for Bayley to lose here.

- Becky vs. Asuka:
Asuka wins to add credibility. Becky could use some credible competition.

- Roman vs. Corbin:
I don't see any reason not to have THE BIG DOG win.

- Fiend vs. Bryan:
Bray wins.

- Women's Rumble:
Becky enters but is eliminated by Nia to set up a Mania match. Shayna wins and challenges Asuka.

- Men's Rumble:
I was brief on the others; this one's a unique opportunity to do something special. Brock eliminates wrestlers two through seven in dominating fashion. As in, so quickly that it's decided to speed up the time between their entrances so he's not hanging out in the ring alone for a minute. Number eight is Cain Velazquez. He storms the ring and Brock kicks his ass, too. Cain pulls him out under the bottom rope and the two fight backstage. Throughout the night their fight will spill backstage, into traffic, the whole nine yards. Security fails multiple times to keep them apart. Eventually Brock does something heinous like F5ing Cain on a car hood or something that takes him out for the rest of the night so Brock can return to the ring. Meanwhile the Rumble continues and comes down to Orton, AJ, and Drew. Drew eliminates AJ as Brock comes back. Orton and Drew keep an eye on him, and Drew eliminates Orton when he's caught unaware. Orton, as you might expect, doesn't take this well. Brock and Drew have a standoff before Orton pulls Drew over the top rope and RKOs him on the floor.

The next night on Raw, Brock and Heyman announce that Brock is cashing in his Mania match against himself. In other words, we won't see him until Summerslam. Drew runs Brock down for not being man enough to face him, etc. Orton mocks Drew for losing the Rumble. Cain Velazquez limps down and says he's not done with Brock yet. Saudi Arabia has Orton vs. Drew and Brock vs. Cain in a non-title match (because, again, Brock has already signed a contract to challenge for the same title he's defending at WrestleMania). Drew and Brock win. Brock goes back to his farm.

Drew continues his crusade to get the absentee champion to face him and declares that, in contrast to Brock, he will be at Elimination Chamber and he will win the match. Orton, AJ, Andrade, Rey, and Humberto are the other participants. Drew wins.

Heyman still says Drew hasn't earned a title match, and Drew realizes it isn't Brock he has to convince, it's Heyman. So, Drew makes Heyman's life a living hell inside and outside of arenas to the point Heyman snaps and essentially forces Brock to go to WrestleMania and punish Drew.

More wrestling coming up.
