AEW names in WWE doc, Impact name signs new deal, MITB notes, WWE HoFer no longer under contract, MLW series updates, MLW contract coming due, MLW office update, assorted wrestling press, Interviews with Theory/Lana, next AEW ladder match competitor, Tyson update, lost Ryder episode, Becky relinquishes title, WWE brand crossover, upcoming WWE TV matches, and Questions on social distancing, The North, Kross' gimmick, WWE not building stars, and WWE "erasing" Roman

Jim Ross and Chris Jericho are featured on The Undertaker's WWE Network series. I'm glad they were included.

Su Yung has signed a multi-year deal to stay in Impact. She had publicly announced she was a free agent, so it looks like she didn't get any better offers. I'm not sure if that's a coronavirus hiring freeze situation or not. We'll see if Impact has anything fresh for her now.

Corporate Ladder Match notes:
- AJ Styles was always set to be in the match. It was taped before his Raw return.

- Footage was taped "out of order" from how it aired.

- Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black were tossed onto an unlit part of the roof with crash pads and cardboard boxes.

- The Money in the Bank Conference Room is really the name of the room used and really has a briefcase in it. It was not setup just for the match.

- Bruce Prichard's son Kane Prichard played the janitor.

- WWE's office building already had ring ropes, screens, and WWE pinball machines.

Sting will not be in an upcoming WWE action figure line, which would seem to mean he's no longer under a deal with them. Naturally, AEW speculation is already occurring, with Cody referencing the news. I'm not sure if Sting wrestling is a great move with WWE not clearing him to wrestle and him being 61, but certainly him appearing there would be a boost.

MLW is developing a TV project with Alicia Atout. Interesting!

MLW and AAA are working on another Super Series.

MLW's Richard Holliday's contract is coming due soon. The two sides are in discussions regarding a new deal.

MLW staff are expected to work remotely through at least September.

Highspots.com is running a 25% off spring sale for everything except wrestling rings and accessories for those rings.

WWE Shop is selling MITB commemorative shirts for Otis and Asuka.

Austin Theory is on the latest Swerve City podcast.

AEW's Casino Ladder match has added Colt Cabana. That's an interesting option to be in the title mix.

Mike Tyson is in negotiations to wrestle for MLW, with Low Ki being teased as his opponent. Tyson and MLW have the same representation. That would be a big coup for the group.

Zack Ryder (Matt Cardona) showed a "lost" Z! True Long Island Story episode. I wouldn't mind seeing more of his humor in AEW, although I wonder if it would oversaturate things with the other "ironic" meta humor there.

Lana appeared on Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows' latest podcast.

Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black competed on Raw because they were thrown onto a "secondary roof" of WWE headquarters rather than all the way off. You'd think it would have still affected them more than it did, though. I wonder if some plans were changed that necessitated them not selling the effects of MITB.

Becky Lynch relinquished the Raw Women's Championship due to a legitimate pregnancy. Asuka won the championship by virtue of winning Money in the Bank.

- Becky thanked fans for her journey up through now.

Raw and Smackdown will have limited roster crossover for the time being as part of an "invitational" between the two brands.

- Drew McIntyre vs. King Corbin will kick this period off on Monday's Raw.

Smackdown has announced:
- MizTV with Otis
- Charlotte Flair appearing

Raw has announced Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. The IIconics for the Women's Tag Team Championship.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The ten people would include the wrestlers, referee, and camera crew. Having so few fans would probably be more awkward than no audience at all.

2. Yes. They were hilarious and are a highlight of that company. Ethan Page was fun as Chandler Park there, too.

3. There are certainly similarities between the two gimmicks, though Kross has some size on Lumis and also comes with Scarlett. A lot of the hype comes from what Kross has done elsewhere. NXT is wisely building the new character little by little instead of giving fans a long match right out of the gate.

4.a. I fully believe WWE's failure to build stars is coming back to hurt them, and to a degree AEW. WWE has really shifted away from their traditional view of stars in favor of "workrate" being the focus, and of course micromanaging the creative process has played a big role, too.

4.b. AEW is still in its early stages and building talents of its own. That process takes time. It's really too early to compare them to WCW in 1997 rather than WCW in, say, 1994 or 1995.

5. If they emphasized Seth beating Roman, fans would also say it was a shot at Roman. Once people have a theory in their heads, they'll stick with it no matter what.

More wrestling tomorrow.
