Becky Lynch was set to face Nia Jax at Money in the Bank in a victorious effort, with Shayna Baszler winning the briefcase. Wow. Talk about building one star at everyone else's expense.

AEW turned a small profit in April due to taping so much content at once in Georgia. Naturally they would have done better if they were running in front of paying crowds, but it's impressive they're already recouping the initial sharp investments.

The Casino Ladder Match will have nine competitors, with all but the first two coming in at ninety seconds. Notably the match can end before all nine entrants are involved. It's an interesting idea, though the idea of a match ending before everyone enters it feels off.

- AJ Styles(!) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in an Intercontinental Championship tournament match
- Otis and Mandy Rose vs. Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1.a. Greatest from an in-ring perspective? Perhaps, but Miz has been more successful.

1.b. Ryback and Kenny King still wrestle from the early seasons. Considering how long ago they aired, that's not really a surprise.

1.c. Not at all. The show was a reality show first and foremost, and most of the people they recruited wouldn't have gotten into the business otherwise. It exposed more people to the WWE product and what it takes to make it there.

2. They're completely unrelated projects. NXT the show was started as a replacement to the ECW brand. It had some "reality" aspects but involved people already under developmental deals. There wasn't a recruitment process like Tough Enough had.

3. Given the pandemic shifting taping schedules, I can't say I'm surprised it hasn't been considered as a top priority. And with NXT having its own cruiserweight tournament, that tied up most of the wrestlers as it would be a little strange for them to be facing off in exhibition matches on 205 Live while that was going on.

4. Doing their best at home I suppose.

5. He had a pretty long in-ring career. I don't blame him for avoiding the thumbtacks and barbed wire now that he's a producer!

More wrestling tomorrow.
