Interviews with HHH/Sonya/Ric/Brodie/Archer, more Shad notes, Sting Network special coming, NXT announcements, Revolt trademark update, Edge trademark dropped, AEW hype, FTR sued by WWE, released WWE name looking at MMA, indie joins Patreon, All Out set, Baker injury update, and Questions on WWE touring again, Khan on TV, and Sunny taking bookings

Triple H discussed the People's Elbow's being invented to make The Undertaker laugh. WWE is missing that fun, spontaneous element a lot of times now.

Shad Gaspard had a memorial, with JTG attending. It's increasingly clear the world lost a selfless human being.

- A significant number of people in the business donated to the GoFundMe drive to assist his family, both publicly and privately. The drive passed its $100,000 goal due to donations big and small.

- ProWrestlingTees has created a T-shirt to benefit his family.

Sting will get a WWE Network special May 31. "Sting: The Lost Tape" is centered around Slamboree 1995.

Sonya Deville spoke to Newsweek about her current angle and more. Sonya and Mandy have definitely formed a bond.

NXT has added:
- Charlotte Flair and a partner of her choosing vs. Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley. WWE is really becoming the Charlotte Show!
- Kurt Angle refereeing Matt Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher. That's huge! Angle's still under WWE contract until his no-compete clause expires.

NC independent team The Revolt have applied for that trademark.

WWE has abandoned their "Rated R Superstar" trademark. A little surprised to see that, as they're still using the R symbol to promote him.

Ric Flair spoke about his new WWE contract. Tony Khan seems like a class act.

Brodie Lee spoke before Double or Nothing:
- Another positive Tony Khan story.

- I am glad to see something fresh from him.

- I think Dark Order has benefited from moving away from its initial concept and members.

- I'm skeptical about AEW adding Rowan. Maybe for an angle against Brodie, but I don't see him being a long-term investment there.

- Moxley vs. Brodie was a blast.

AEW promoted Cody vs. Lance Archer with videos from Alison Brie, Stephen Amell, NBA star Dominique Williams, "Billions" producer Dan Soder, "Billions" star Kelly AuCoin, comedian Jack Whitehead, comedian Brad Williams, actor Paul Walter Hauser, and "Imagine Dragons" member Daniel Platzman. Very cool. Great job making the match meaningful.

WWE has served FTR with cease and desist paperwork for using the artwork for the costumes WWE proposed they use as The Revival.

Sarah Logan is training for MMA. Interesting!

Lance Archer is on the latest Talk is Jericho.

Game Changer Wrestling is now on Patreon.

All Out 2020 has been announced for September 5. Currently there is no market announced.

Britt Baker will address her injuries on Dynamite. She has a partial LCL tear, an interior tibia fracture, and a small tendon tear. I hope she doesn't miss long, and that we get a great promo about how our role model will persevere.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It's not a decision they're going to make lightly, and I could see them starting with just TV tapings and PPVs. There's nothing to indicate they're even in the planning stages of running in front of crowds again, but I'm sure Vince McMahon is eager to do so when he's able to do so.

Nothing to add to 2.

3. Frankly I give him credit for not doing so before now! It doesn't look like he intends to do so anytime soon, which goes against the reputation people (myself at times included) had/have for him as a superfan who wanted to be in the spotlight.

4 was just for them, and very insightful.

I will address 5 in the next post.

I don't have much to add to 6. If promoters want to give her a chance and fans want to see her, it's something to pursue.

More wrestling coming up.
