Interviews with McIntyre/Kane/Moxley, NJPW taping notes, AEW injury, Apter discusses Andre, Edge injured, Smackdown segment, WWE PPV official, Punk on Backstage, and Questions on the Sheamus-Jeff angle, not stripping Devlin, and wrestlers who were never world champ

Drew McIntyre spoke before Backlash with TVInsider and The Daily Star. I really hope he's safe post-Heyman.

- Drew mentioned wanting to work with The Undertaker one-on-one. I certainly wouldn't rule it out!

Kane spoke to Sports Illustrated about The Undertaker's Last Ride. Very cool to read about them working together before he was Kane.

NJPW's California taping notes:
- Championship Wrestling From Hollywood's production team handled those duties there.

- Tom Lawlor worked with MLW's approval. He competed against Rocky Romero in one match and Alex Coughlin in another. That could really open doors for MLW.

- ROH taped Brody King vs. Bateman for a future TV episode. Very good synergy.

Kris Statlander tore an ACL during Dynamite and will require surgery. That's a really unfortunate setback for someone who was building a name for herself in AEW.

Bill Apter discussed an Andre the Giant biography.

Jon Moxley is on "A Shot Of Brandi."

Edge tore a triceps at Backlash. That could be a major injury, which is a big blow to his surprise comeback.

AJ Styles will have a championship celebration on Smackdown.

Extreme Rules is set for July 19.

C.M. Punk will be on Backstage tomorrow night, meaning he and Bret Hart will be on the same episode. That's intriguing!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1.

2. That's a fair point. It wasn't my favorite angle either way.

3. My guess is that it's at least partially because while Devlin can't be at the show due to travel restrictions, Sami is voluntarily missing events. It could also be that the Intercontinental Championship is more prominent than the cruiserweight title.

4. The only name I can really think to add, and I wouldn't put him at the level of the others on the list, was Wade Barrett during the Nexus angle. It's worth noting DiBiase and Hennig have disputed world title reigns.

5 is a repeat.

More wrestling tomorrow.
