Impact channel expanding, assorted wrestling press, former Impact name facing charges, coronavirus-related wrestling updates, new Slammiversary match, Interview with Reigns, Ricochet special coming, wrestling book notes, Guevara-AEW update, and Questions on Low Ki's COVID tweet, USA and FOX's reactions to taped WWE shows, Elgin-Impact, and Tessa's exit

Impact's Pluto TV channel is expanding into Latin America, including exclusive Spanish content. That's good for their growth south of the U.S.

New Day's latest podcast features celebrity barber Big Jay.

Rhaka Khan is facing multiple court dates in August for charges of interference with child custody, facilitating aggravated kidnapping, and interfering in public duties. The first charge is a felony, so she could be in for jail time.

Kevin Owens discussed his grandfather-in-law passing due to COVID-19. Very sad to see that.

Todd Pettengill has shut down his daily show due to someone on the show coming into contact with someone who has COVID-19.

Slammiversary has added a Knockouts gauntlet match to declare the next number one contender. Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, Kimber Lee, Neveah, Susie, Kiera Kogan, Tasha Steelz, Havok, Kylie Rae, and Alisha Edwards are all advertised.

Roman Reigns spoke to an Indian news outlet. I'm ready to see him wrestle again, but obviously his family takes precedent.

Batista and Titus O'Neil joined UNICEF on Amazon.

Ricochet is getting a WWE 365 airing Sunday.

Ember Moon will be the subject of a Stonecutter Media PPV in August featuring her matches from CZW and WSU.

The Bella Twins' memoir will come out in paperback in January. Jim Ross' second autobiography will come out in paperback in May.

WWE Studios' Rumble will have an official novelization.

Sammy Guevara will return to AEW once his suspension ends. There was speculation he would be out of the company. I'm glad to see that. He has owned up to his appalling choice of words.

NJPW returning got press in India.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I will keep this wrestling-related. I have often enjoyed Low Ki's work, but can see how he holds himself much higher than others do and absolutely believe that has cost him opportunities in the business. He doesn't seem to mind that, though, so more power to him.

2. I believe FOX and USA have given WWE leeway to not have fresh content due to the extraordinary nature of the pandemic.

3. My interpretation was Impact was acknowledging they had content of him taped for future episodes leading into Slammiversary, and that content will not air. Impact will not be using him in the future.

4. I would think Impact could sue, since it's their championship. I wouldn't think it would come to that. I absolutely think it would further harm her reputation if she took that route.

5. The Austin Aries situation was apparently a worked shoot to theoretically build to a comeback. I guess most talents feel they're valuable enough to pull that kind of stunt, feeling the company needs them more than they need the company. I guess it's a little like someone saying they're too good to work at Walmart and cutting a promo on their boss on the way out.

More wrestling tomorrow.
