NXT roster move planned, more WWE cutbacks, content updates, GCW return set, AEW removes match, and Questions on WWE not pushing stars as more important, Edge's reputation, Brodie's future, AEW on HBO Max, and WWE adding to its live event presentation

NXT's Dominik Dijakovic is set to join the Raw roster. I'm very glad to see "callups" resuming, and hope he can make a mark for himself.

WWE has cut salaries for producers and referees as part of its pandemic response. There are no current plans to cut salaries for talent, as such an agreement being turned down would lead to talent becoming free agents. It's concerning WWE is making big cuts given those huge TV deals ensuring large profits for years to come.

R-Truth will be on WWE Network's next "Break It Down."

GCW is resuming events June 20 with a show in Indiana. I'm glad to see shows being run again.

Orange Cassidy is on the latest "Shot Of Brandi."

AEW Dark removed a match featuring Clutch Adams due to past racist and homophobic Twitter remarks. Those have a way of coming back to haunt someone.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE is absolutely of the mindset that the brand is the most important thing. They don't want one star getting hot then being in a situation where they're no longer active in WWE because they're in another company, heading to Hollywood, injured, etc. In that sense they're playing it safe and not doing things that could theoretically change their record business. It's also worth noting by and large the talent being recruited these days doesn't fit Vince's vision of being a star like Hogan, Rock, or Cena were, and often he has second thoughts about talent he does push.

2. Everyone's moved well past that. Edge is married with kids now so the situation is very unlikely to happen again!

3. That's funny, but they were wise to keep him off TV to sell the loss to Moxley. When he returns, he needs to be mad as hell and frankly I could see him thinking he couldn't focus on his own potential because he's dealing with the costumed goofs.

4. It doesn't look like sports are a priority for the service.

5. It's something to consider, though I expect that makes for a pretty long day for the talent. Live event loops were designed to get everyone in and out to setup for the next one in the next town. It's worth re-examining whether it's worth doing multiple shots in a weekend given how interest has dropped. Instead they could focus on one market with autographs, etc.

More wrestling tomorrow.
