Interviews with Rhea/HHH/Cole/Dr. Tom/Animal, Elias injured for real, HHH conference call, and Questions on Charlotte needing challenges, cruiserweight booking, blood in AEW, AEW referees, and WWE recreating Impact

Rhea Ripley spoke before Takeover. I definitely think her feud with Charlotte can be revisited.

Triple H spoke before Takeover.

Adam Cole spoke about his WWE TV debut as an extra. Wow. Someone really screwed up there.

Dr. Tom Prichard spoke on VOC Nation's Brisco and Big Ace podcast. Here are highlights. Prichard absolutely stressed the fundamentals in FCW.

Road Warrior Animal gave a shoot interview.

Elias has a torn pectoral muscle. The Jeff Hardy angle was written to cover for him missing several months. Hopefully he can make things happen once he's 100%.

Triple H did a conference all after Takeover, recapped here:
- I enjoyed the mix of past and current/future.

- Charlotte needs to be on one show right now unless her Raw appearances are quick promos to promote NXT. Other names can crossover. Don't overexpose her.

- I would have MARKED OUT for Dok Hendrix.

- They didn't do nostalgia just for the sake of it. Each bit had meaning.

- Good to see more training online.

- Actually yes, it should mean some talents move on to work in front of larger audiences on more highly-rated (and highly paid for) shows.

- More NXT callups! It's long overdue for some of them, and opens the door for names from the PC and languishing on the other shows to make the most of that spotlight.

- I'd love to see Keith Lee as a world champion.

- OUCH yeah there's a reason people don't do unsanitary matches like that anymore.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Charlotte could certainly benefit from some new challenges. I don't think she's at Hogan or Cena levels of dominant yet, but she's really established herself as a key name in WWE and facing her is significant for her opponents.

2. I really doubt Drake was going to get that big of a push if not for the sympathy he got from being released.

3. AEW wants to push the envelope in ways WWE won't. Blood has been part of that. I do believe they're taking precautions for such things, which separates them from some of the other places.

4. Certain parties in AEW feel that treating things too much like a "real sport" hurts the presentation of the style they're best at. It's telling that others in the company go the complete opposite direction to great results.

5. I don't think they're doing it just because Impact did it, but it'd be naïve to think there aren't people there who know what those three did a few years ago. I think it's mainly a matter of the stars aligning and WWE seeing the same qualities Impact did in those wrestlers.

More wrestling tomorrow.
