Podcast guests, WWE Network launches free tier, WWE Network show returns, more on TNT open challenges, more on AEW match being dropped, NJPW trademark, Interviews with Montez/Sonya/Dana, MLW reschedules dates, PWI editor profiled, and Questions on Cornette disliking AEW, Taker post-retirement, DWI angle, WWE doing a Nitro show and wrestling TV contracts

New Day's latest podcast features Kel Mitchell and the host of American Ninja Warrior.

Titus O'Neil is on Maria Menounos' latest podcast.

MVP is on Lilian Garcia's latest podcast.

WWE Network has launched its free tier, featuring:
- Original series, specifically "Monday Night War," "Ride Along," "Table for 3," "Photo Shoot," and "Story Time."
- Recent episodes of Raw, Smackdown, and NXT
- A select number of past PPVs and Takeover titles
-- I continue to expect the Network to eventually transition into being part of someone else's streaming offerings. Subscriber numbers have been very underwhelming.

Raw Talk has returned as a WWE Network post-show each week, specifically being part of the new free tier. Samoa Joe and Charly Caruso are hosting the series. I like that combination!

Cody's TNT Championship open challenges will allow unsigned talent. That could make for some very interesting matches, and of course calls to add to AEW's already large roster.

AEW Dark wrestler Clutch Adams apologized for his past controversial tweets, which had led to AEW removing his match from this week's broadcast. I'm glad to see him take responsibility for his actions and hope he can move forward in a positive direction from here.

Dark has added Christi Jaynes vs. KiLynn King.

NJPW has trademarked "Wrestle Dynasty," the name of their planned Madison Square Garden event.

Montez Ford spoke before Raw. I am very glad to see content other than competitive athletes showing who can win matches.

Sonya Deville spoke to New York Post:
- It is great to see more roles for women.

- I'm surprised they haven't tried a "sincere" lesbian storyline yet. They definitely dropped the Lana/Liv thing quickly. Sonya having a girlfriend coming up from NXT would be a natural fit.

Dana Brooke spoke on Afterbuzz TV.

MLW is rescheduling its July dates due to COVID-19:
- Pennsylvania is rescheduled for December 5
- New York is rescheduled for February 4

Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Stu Saks' tenure was remembered.

Matt Taven is on the latest ROH Strong podcast.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I agree that Cornette continuing to watch and comment on a product he clearly despises is a waste of all of our times, but his antics continue to draw an audience, so I don't expect it to stop.

2. I would be very surprised to see him leave the business entirely when his in-ring days are over, though I also don't see him regularly going to Florida or Connecticut on behalf of WWE. If there's a way for him to contribute from Texas or he's only expected to attend one week a month or something, I could see him being involved behind-the-scenes for WWE.

3. I really doubt it was Vince's idea. My guess is someone wanted to be edgy and relevant to try to get a buzz from the younger audience WWE is struggling to maintain, and Vince OK'd it.

4. What's Vince's theme song again? I see no reason for him to do a Nitro episode in 2020.

5. I'm under the impression WWE's contracts don't have anything that would punish them for not hitting certain ratings goals, which has got to be a blessing for them. I believe AEW has a deal like a sports property would and they've exceeded initial audience projections.

More wrestling coming up.
