Four FCW releases, Questions on WWE doing seasons, TNA stars jumping ship, Lesnar, Orton, and Jericho, Interviews with Rhodes/Tessmacher/Henry/JBL,and NXT Season 6 made official

There were a number of releases from FCW on 6/13:
Eli Cottonwood, who requested his release to take a job outside of the business. I wasn't impressed with him on Season 2 of NXT, but he could have gotten better in the time between then and his release. I don't see TNA signing him. He had been in FCW since 2009.

Jiro, who was Sakamoto's partner. He had only been in FCW around 7 months and was used at the big NXT tapings.

Benicio Salazar, who wrestled in Mexico as Hijo del Medico Asesino. He had been in FCW about 3 months.

Sonny Elliot, from Australia. He had only been in FCW about 3 months.

Everything else from 6/13 after the break!
For my take on the 6/13 PWInsider.com questions:
1. I like the idea. They could split the calendar and know what they're doing into the Rumble, Mania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series and plan accordingly. But, there are always injuries to work around and people stepping up their game or not getting over as much as someone hopes and changes might need to be made.

2. They should be! I believe they do keep their eyes on TNA and its stars. I don't know what the status of those stars is (presumably it's not "crunch time" for anyone), but there are rumors floating around that Matt Morgan is interested in going to WWE when his deal's up.

3. There's always a chance that he re-signs. We're still many months away from that decision being made, so it's still kind of premature to speculate.

4. I think it will be something like what we saw with Sheamus some time ago- they'll take him down a peg, then eventually build him back up. He's a pretty big deal in the company, so I don't see them pulling a Miz with him.

5. What led to Jericho's suspension was an understandable accident. Orton's transgression is a little harder to forgive. I don't think they'll throw Jericho under the bus since he's a part-time guy who hasn't given them as much trouble through the years.

Cody Rhodes was interviewed about his lineage and more.

Miss Tessmacher talked about winning the Knockouts title and more.

6/20 will be the start of Season 6 of NXT on WWE.com.

Mark Henry talked about recovering from his injury and his future. I hope he's able to come back. His "Hall of Pain" run was some really good stuff.

Here are highlights from a recent JBL interview. He's about the only person I know who still enjoys Michael Cole.

More news will be up after the 6/14 Superstars and Impact Wrestling, which will be up tonight.
